hot cloud? // CommunitytalisanAug 31, 2002, 1:37am
I have received this gram several times from people I trust in the last
week. I can't comfirm it. Is there really a browser that is hacked that work and has not been blocked by AWI? Is there nothing that can be done? "FYI cit 340532 hot cloud is using a hacked AW 3.3 Build 419 browser (confirmed) and is NOT to be trusted it allows him to see everyone and to fly, teleport, object click and shift EVEN when those are disabled dont know if it allows anything more but do not like taking the chance hot cloud btw is 12 " makiAug 31, 2002, 2:01am
Yes, there has been hacks for aw before that allow these type of
things...heck..I've even had the show all names one before.. :) But they usually fix it in the next release if they know about it...oh well - how much damage can one do with these abilities anyway, come on, it's only activeworlds... maki awmaki.com [View Quote] joemanAug 31, 2002, 2:01am
OH MY GOD!!! RUN FOR THE HILLS!! STOP THE DAMN PRESSES!!!
Please, practice safe sex, so this never... ever happens again. Who the hell cares if some little script kiddie newbie is using a "cracked" browser. Cry me a river, its no big deal. Ooo, lets even throw the build number into there and make it look all official. He cant be trusted ever, because, he can see people!!! Wow, big whoop. That's about all he can do. He must be so popular at school, with his cracked browser. I mean, wow, I wish I could... fly and shift in every world. Oh, and click objects!!! Wow!!! Also, who the hell cares how old this little snot is? A very tired... -Joe [View Quote] syntaxAug 31, 2002, 2:36am
A Joe with very valid points. ;-P
Yea tal, this really isn't worth posting in the newsgroups, but, since you did we'll just hope it doesn't burst into a fury of flames. ;-) -- - Syntax - http://www.swcity.net http://forum.swcity.net [View Quote] > A very tired... > -Joe > [View Quote] talisanAug 31, 2002, 2:41am
Why would it result in a flame? I was just asking if this was possible. Why
would anyone flame me for that? If you're attepting to start something, come on. :) [View Quote] makiAug 31, 2002, 3:01am

I suggest you get lost from the NG if that is the way you reply to him for
no reason when he was just stating facts. It's people like YOU who need to go to hell, for sure! [View Quote] bowenAug 31, 2002, 12:17pm

if you find this to be such a big problem, just eject them, and set a long
expire date. from what I know of such things, they cant do any real harm :-) m0e [View Quote] > I have received this gram several times from people I trust in the last > week. I can't comfirm it. You certainly seem to have an odd fixation with hell, don't you? It
always struck me as ironic that the people who shout about people going to hell too much are usually the ones that are probably better candidates for the trip than the people they're yelling at. :P [View Quote] -- Goober King He's already in hell... robrod at prism.net anduinAug 31, 2002, 11:22pm

You know, this reminds me of Sartre's interpretation of hell in his play, No
Exit. lol. Maybe this newsgroup IS hell, because we sure are being tortured on a daily basis by everyone else. Existentionalism lives! ;) -- -- From the Newbie's Guide to the AW NG: "Nornny11 - The original wishy-washy man, this one can actually insult you and compliment you in the same breath, and in the end say absolutely nothing! What a talent!" [View Quote] joemanSep 1, 2002, 1:27am

> I dont rember him ever saying hes not going to hell...
He hasn't, but he has said he doesn't tolerate any violence and blah blah blah. Therefore, he's a hypocrite since he uses violence. --Bowen-- athnexSep 2, 2002, 8:50pm
Imagin how more annoying if he was like.
You all should not use violent actions. Such things are bad. You need to follow the ways of our great Alla! Follow! Follow! Or you will be rightfully punished because violence is bad! Yes it is bad, very bad. [View Quote] bowenSep 2, 2002, 9:02pm

Yes it is bad, very bad. There's a difference? Both are hypocritical, one's just hiding behind a religion. Violence is the only way to establish peace, if history has taught us anything. --Bowen-- bowenSep 3, 2002, 9:42am
> Keep believing that, "mr bush".
Sorry I thought it was pretty obvious that you're a hyopcrite. Perhaps you need to learn to read? Great tell me when you can type too. At least make a little effort to spell his title correctly. --Bowen-- sweSep 3, 2002, 12:52pm
bah, your thoughts on life are totally screwed up, violance doesnt bring
peace between countries, it brings fear, which may lead to peace for a little bit, but sooner or later, the violance starts again. like two men arguing over who has the largest tool, its not about who really does, its about someone tring to keep his diginity. p.s stop tring to insult people because they're making a few spelling mistakes.... [View Quote] ncc 72897Sep 3, 2002, 1:07pm
This ain't school here so I don't have to spell perfectly.
And I don't care about spelling HIS title correctly. Maybe you're talking about yourself when you keep saying hypocrite, since you seem to like that word alot. [View Quote] bowenSep 3, 2002, 3:38pm

You have to know what it means before you can call me that. If you're going to over-generalize like quite a few Europeans do, at least do it with some umph and spell his name and title right. Repetition is the only way to get things into your head so it seems. --Bowen-- bowenSep 3, 2002, 3:44pm

No, violence does bring peace. It also does bring fear, that's why there's peace.
How do you think most dictators get to power (notice most)? If you're a strong leader they won't rebel. Look at Alexander the Great, or Ceasar. Both ruled with an iron fist and quite successfully too. --Bowen-- sweSep 4, 2002, 12:08am
you rule until they get the chance to rebel, then your totally fucked. same
with war, theres peace until the other country gets the chance, then both countries are totally fucked. [View Quote] bowenSep 4, 2002, 1:31am
Same with peacetime, you rule until a group wants you gone. At least with violence
you instill a feeling of fear in the subjects. I'm not saying you need to rule with violence, just get to power with it. :P --Bowen-- [View Quote] |
