try this
find some links that do it, and some that dont
then goto the ones that u made a note of that do it again, see if they
consistantly do it
and do the same for the ones that dont, and see if they consistantly dont do
it.
then post the links here, saying which ones do and which ones dont.
came across something similar when i worked on an isp helpdesk, cant
remember how i fixed it, but i think it was sumthing to do with runing the
Fix IE from the UnInstaller. But get the sites first and let me take a
look at those, mite be some html component or activex component that 6.02
doesnt like ;)

One other thing to try
Drop the colour level down in the monitor settings(right click on the
desktop, click on properties then click on settings, then drop the Colour
setting down to a lower number of colours)
See if that changes n e thing for u.
Not a final solution(as i am sure Binary would love to start shouting) but
may give some clue as to what is causing the problem.
What OS are using ?

no u didnt have a problem with your colour settings BEFORE u installed IE
6.02, m asking u to turn it down temporarily to see weather the same sites
that shut the monitor down, still do it when the colour settings are lower.
I'm not asking u to leave it at that settings, just try it

what a stupid thing to say "Bud", go read your initial post, you mention
"SUNLAND" my world. Doesnt leave it down to much working out does it being
as my username is SUNofSolaris, and i hang out in my world.
read my posts to "Bud", how many more times have i got to tell you, its not
a hacking bot, and how many more times have i got to tell you, you are just
sore because your bot doesnt do everything that everyone else's does, and
you have been proved wrong.
the ONLY reason you started this thread in the first place was to try and
have me removed from AW for no other reason than bursting your bubble. Go
whine at some one who cares man.
enough said now i think, m not even going to bother repeating the same old
thing over n over again when the target is either totaly stupid, total
ignorant, or completely engulfed in dellusions grandure. You are a sore
sorry sad old man "Bud", and through out this thread, you have proved it
over and over again, just your attitude alone proves it, let alone moving on
to your manner of communications.
"grow up" i beleive you told me in a previous post, i think you seriously
need to step away from the computer for a little while, take a good look at
yourself, and rethink who the target of that should be.
sorry you cant handle reality "Bud", was a pleasure watching you show
everyone who you really are, but to be honest man, i really dont have the
time to waste on this.

not so sure thats the case man, cos if it was, think about it, surely IE
would close her monitor down straight away, being as every time she opened
it it would attempt to goto that home page.
if it is tho and you have the documentation for it i wouldnt mind a look
when u find it :)

dood can you drop the "ghetto talk", you are not Charle Bronson of AW, just
as you are not god. Tell you one thing that you are tho, BORING, VERY
BORING. You are obviously very sore that some one else's bot got the
better of you. Wake up moron, if you knew n e thing you would realise the
the bot will only port scan in my own world any way. What use is is as a
hacking tool ????
As for thinking every one is stupid, no not at, just you, in the fact that
although you may have the wool pulled over the majority of the AW
community's eyes that you are something great with a computer, the fact that
you thought you could pull it over my eyes. One only has to read the
telegrams that you posted in the previous thread to assertain that.
"Bud" you can code VB, thats great, i'm really happy for you. It doesnt
make you something that every one should "ph33r" and respect tho. Wake Up.

i think that last post pretty much confirms what i have been saying all
along
"> hey boner " - ghetto talk
"i code in any language i need to at the time" - wanna be l337
"i've plenty of code out there" - arrogance
"i just choose to make my money in VB" - bs
"it's what my Boss wants...:)" - i'm god i work in IT (who doesnt man, big
deal)
"and as far as being upset that your bot port scans..... well that is just
plain lame" - l337 talk
"hehehe" - ghetto/tard talk
"like you said port scanning was > PC 101 NBD " - arrogance
"i was just a little ruffled when you do that AND try and gleen passwords
off of people right out in the > open...sheeesh pretty brash huh?" -
illiteracy in failure to read his telegrams(the ones he posted to you ppl) -
Arrogance in judgement and acting as god
"and you can ramble all day long at my code son...i've been doing it for
years making money and i have many programs out there being used daily" -
bs and arrogance
"made me lots of money...how much you made on your "code" son?" - arrogance
(but as a matter of fact probarbly alot more than Leo, as i write commercial
apps not kiddies toys ;) )
"i thought so....:)" - presumtuous
"Leo :)" - fool

p.s. RoboBot is "lame" my friend, bet you were a lil on the pissed side when
Xelagot came about ? BTW of all the bots i have seen for download(which
isnt many and the only reason i saw RoboBot was cos Leo went ranting on
about it, and i like to check out facts before i spout them as gospel)
Xelagot, bar the scripting language, is one of the better ones. When was
it that Leo won some award for RoboBot ? how many years ago ? and he still
stands on that as making him something. As with all technologies, get in
there at the start when almost no one knows n e thing, u can establish a
name VERY easily.

again, jesus how many times to i have to repeat myself, or perhaps you are
ignorant(it certainly seems it)
a) i am perfectly capable of defending my self both in AW and in real, you
are hardly any threat any way, as i have already exposed
b) the reason i post what you send is to expose you for what you are(please
read ALL the previous posts)
c) i have a job, you are not the only person in the world who codes for a
living, how many times do i have to tell you this, it doesnt make you
anything amazing either
as for having my fun with you ? no, not with you, but exposing you for
what you are, yes i did enjoy it.
"your day will come...:)" - not a blatent threat huh ?
"grow up and take some responsibility for your life ", what like you ? you
certainly communicate in an adult form, seems you are the one who needs to
grow up Leo and learn to use words that arent ghetto originating.
"you make me puke man" i am honoured, i feel i have equalled the score for
all the people that may have looked at your picture on www.leomauk.com.
"i will have no more contact with you" - i bet you wish you had never met me
now dont you Leo ? now that your true colours are out :)
happy "coding" Leo(ph33r him 4 h3 is g0d)

lol, you didnt even need that, it echoed the results of the scan to the chat
pane in AW ;)
The port scan code is in there, yes, but only for experimental/demo
purposes, its a tick box to turn it on and off, its default is OFF :)
Shit, the meer fact that it told the rest of the world what it was doing
surely confirms the fact i wasnt using it for hacking purposes !!!!! do you
really think that if i was a hacker and wanted to hack some one i would let
them know i was doing it ?????

"when they know damn well there is nothing that can be done to put them in
there place" says it all Binary :) You certainly do rate yourself dont
you.
Now, as for making money out of code, surely if you wish the group to
beleive you, you will provide not only figures but evidence also, and some
pictures on your personal site really dont constitute evidence.
If you cant back up what you say then dont say it, it may be construed as
bs, which you evidently talk much of.

oh and "nothing that can be done to put them in there place" ? Read those
telegrams you sent me "Bud", how many times did you tell me that "putting me
in my place" was EXACTLY what you were going to do ? what's that smell ???
either "Bud" has gotten a bit excited now and filled his pants, or perhaps
he opened his mouth and more bs is floating around.

fyi, what you describe in your post isnt officially a port scan. The
software is only checking for a predefined port for a certain open port on a
number of ip's(perhaps a network, the IPs to be checked being defined by
netmask and your ip, as in XDMCP when u use an X-Server)
Port scanner is slightly different, this scans many ports(on many ips if u
wish) for many predefined port no.s relating to a number of services(not
just one as above).

yeah i agree there, how many script kiddies have i seen do that on IRC,
guess they aren't much different here.
since he started his harrassment of me he has been threatening this and
threatening that and claiming he is some great god of the coders, and as
yet, i have just sat here, alone, just me, and he has run around trying to
get his PK friends to harrass me, and now others. None of the threats have
come true, and after speaking to the ppl that he tries to involved, most of
them seem to turn out pretty cool and realise what a moron our "Bud"
is(HamFon man, appreciated the chat the other day). Pretty soon he is sure
to just give up and admit he is the sorry ass loser that he is.
m sure as hell gettin bored of this, maybe his plan is to trying boring me
to death and hope i go away so he can continue leading ppl into beleiving he
is some Code God.(sorry "Bud" aint going to happen)

seems that either my friend "Bud" has stepped up his slurring campaign or AW
are using slur tactics :-
Telegram from Vicky Ann, sent 3 minutes ago:
i was just talking to Moose about you, apparently all GKs have been told to
eject you on sight as you pick on young girls
VERY out of order i would say, and a total bunch of crap to.

spoke to Moose and asked who told him this, he replies :-
Telegram from HighLanderMoose, sent just now:
was noot me
i ask him who started this rumour, he replies :-
Telegram from HighLanderMoose, sent just now:
was what ah be told when ah became a GK
i ask him when he became GK, he replies
Telegram from HighLanderMoose, sent just now:
have been a GK for 6 months
so from his telegrams he was told 6 months ago to eject me on sight because
i supposedly attack young girls.
hmmmm *scratchin chin* oh please let me defend myself, ONCE AGAIN.
i wasnt even here as a tourist or a CIT then, so how the hell can i have
been attacking ANYONE in here ????
thanks "Bud" or AW, which ever of you is trying to slander me

seems i owe "Bud" and AW an apology, i have gotten to the bottom of this,
some woman thought becos i change my name alot and was banned from AW(which
i am not) that i was some one else, too bad she didnt think to check the
CIT#s before starting rumours, would have saved both of us a whole heap of
trouble.
so again, my apologies on this one to "Bud" and AW
