people like you make me cry :(
they use php, and a bot...the wish was for integrated aw technology...

no but seriously i know you had good intentions with that, but when someone
wishes for something, DONT reply with a simple thing that doesn't help their
wish...
for example
'i wish aw had custom avvis'
response: 'omg awrpg has a webpage with custom avatar selection it is teh

his comment first off didnt need AWRPG spam...
you had no need for personal attacks also...
but besides that, anyone can do a php inventory, the wish was for a SOFTWARE
inventory, with integrated object commands, its pointless to say that awrpg
has one, because they don't! they have a webpage, with nice boxes that are

I would like to see BBcode, or some html derivative be able to be used on
signs. Such a thing would allow for so much customisation of AW...
Examples;
[color=]" "[/color]
[B]" "[/B]
[i]" "[/i]
[size=#]" "[/size]
and any others yo ucan think of...strikethrough, underline, upperline,
mirror...w/e
i think this would allow for soem ncie customisability...and mayeb add a
[img]url[/img] tag for bmps or w/e make soem ncie icons on signs..or get rid
of picture obsj all together?

well the way i see it if its not a STD font...worldowners should give
it...but also can you imagien being abel to bold words? or chaneg the color
so i can make a sign that says
"do not vandalise others property" and change the color of not to red and
make it bold
and change property to blue
while leaving everything else a nice black
this would also be a nice chat feature *hint enzo hint* imagine having just
bbcode,not even font, so bold would be a ps thing( or maybe allow only
certain things), but italics or w/e...or if awi loved us they could make
buttons, and hotkeys..so cntrl+i is italics...nice and easy..

I know awi has vocie coming in the next version(s)...however i would
like to see a few thigns with it, i dont know if they will be in it, but
from what i saw...they wernt...i think using a comamnd like media should
be allowed for voice..so on objects i could do create voice C P...and it
would display my current vocie, this would work on the level of
conferences, radios, or w/e...also if that wont happen is there multi
user support for voice, so i can have lets say 4 people talk with me at
the same time (EX: Yahoo messanger).
regardign webcams, id liek to see them be able to be used in the same
fashion as i just mentioned, no more downlaodign software to broadcats
to the net, i want it so i can have it just liek any other ,messenger,
either with a popup, or command such as create webcam C P, to watch my
webcam, yeah it could get weird, but maybe they could add sensoring? so
in their profile their options the user can set whether they want anyone
to be able to see it (use it in their builds), select list of cit #'s,
or allow only my citizen to create webcam views. besides buolding them i
think ti needs the popups also...
one third thing not in the title...reflections? everything has them now
>_, i mean cmon even thesims has them >_< all a reflection is is the
room behind it displayed backwards, and then using your avatars location
in the radius aaround it....it displays that angle >_<

If aw was amart they would;
|
1)destroy their current water system
2)establish a physics system
3)inside thsi system allow for terrain to serve as bowls
4) this would allow for filled bowl water systems
5) this would allow for weather (ENZO mentioned particle affects)
especially for rain to accumulate in said bowls...
6) oh and they'd realize that terrain cells need to be split /5 or /10
:) it would be so sexarific to have smoother terrain from that even
dividing into wquadrants...

AW on active x?
hit f11...
makes it full screen?
Jul 12, 2005, 2:25pm
I now agree with mark about you;
1) you made several posts in quick ammounts of time n the same
section...see you can link ideas...pixel shaders and max fps...See?
2) AW is not a game engine, Renderware; is a game engine. Activeworlds
uses Renderware (rwx obj...) which thus results in every feature and
capability aw has.
3) "rather than shooting someone and having them dissapear" LOL!!!!! If
your reffering to paintball, or any shooting games, all of that stuff is
done world owenrs end...none of it is controlled by aw...if someone
wants a corpse or a seq to play when someones shot, its up to the bot
programmer or worldowner to figure that out. Especially because AW isnt
a game... it is a chat that has a 3d window...AIM with pretty
pictures... AW has the capability for games to be built inside of
it...but never has there actually been AWI built games, errr newaw
checkers chess ok...but those arent what you refferencing to.
4) haha mark pwnt you in the last thread :)
