Personal Inventory (Wishlist)

Personal Inventory // Wishlist

2nd on my wish list is a personal inventory. It would work something like
this...

An object can be created with activate command "inventory" and parameters of
"name", "url" for an image, "limit" for the maximum number that can be
carried, "drop" and "radius".

If a user clicks the object it disappears and becomes part of their
inventory.

Each user can access their inventory from the main menu, which would display
what inventory items they are carrying by name, a thumbnail of the image,
and how many of that object they are carrying. If no name was given in the
object it could default to the rwx name. The location of the object would
also be stored.

Carried inventory items could be deleted by user selection and/or by time
expiry. If the "Drop" parameter is "World" that inventory item is deleted
if the user leaves the world. If it is "Range" then it is dropped when the
user moves outside the "Radius".

Bots should be able to read a user's inventory, which could then be able to
grant them special rights. eg: enough gold to purchase land or avatar, the
right key to open a door, enough strength to get a sword, the right weapon
to destroy a target. The applications for this would be endless and would
open a wide door for roleplaying games.

This would be possible using the plugin server and some clever botnix. At
least I think it would.

Lol, I know that at least AWRPG has an extensive system for this, if
you've never been in there... nice world, and nice system, when it's not
lagging :-)

people like you make me cry :(

they use php, and a bot...the wish was for integrated aw technology...

*cry*

no but seriously i know you had good intentions with that, but when someone
wishes for something, DONT reply with a simple thing that doesn't help their
wish...

for example

'i wish aw had custom avvis'

response: 'omg awrpg has a webpage with custom avatar selection it is teh
r0x0rzzzz!!!!1211111!!!!1111'

You're posts make me cry CP =0

Can you read? Or do you just look at the string of symbols and pretend you
understand them, because you obviously don't.

His post was directly related to the thread. Also, I think when Justin
posted his comments he was welcoming input on what can be done with it, or
what has been done with it.

his comment first off didnt need AWRPG spam...

you had no need for personal attacks also...

but besides that, anyone can do a php inventory, the wish was for a SOFTWARE
inventory, with integrated object commands, its pointless to say that awrpg
has one, because they don't! they have a webpage, with nice boxes that are
like 'OMG'...

so are you done with your ......

lol, and we're trying to tell you that you don't need it to be an
integrated browser feature in order to have inventory :-)

In a lot of ways, it's better than it would be via browser integration...
you've doubtless seen how long it often takes to load just the simple
citizens page :-)
