This is to come to no offense but there is a news group dedicated to AWTeen
itself.. this really does belong there rather then here. Glad you just
started it there ;)

No, the community doesn't want to hear about most of this AWTeen specific
stuff. If they did they'd either head to the General Discussion (where this
belongs) or the AWTeen newsgroups (which is more appropriate). As long as
they follow the rules we'll accept their posts.. (and by rules I mean the
ones specifically set up for it, not a charter you made).

If they follow the rules of course they can, as you said, aw community in
*general*. Had this had been posted in *General* Discussion then there
would be no trouble, and this should've been in AWTeen's newsgroup since it
was set up for exactly this problem. Community pertains to everyone, not
just a select group and if anything bad happens in AWTeen, it doesn't really
effect any of the non-AWTeen goers.
--Bowen--

LoL :) that's very true.. Imagine if all of them knew about the newsgroups..
the teen discussions that would go on.. oh my.

I don't even know what he's talking about here..
"I was just thinking what 3d design on the internet might become. Imagine
being able to scan in a picture and have a build set to fit the picture with
object creating like we can now with ASCII art."
3d objects are infinitely more complex then ASCII.. let alone art made with
it.. so.. reading this slowly.. you want to be able to make object sets with
millions of vertices using "shapes" ? Like a sphere connected to another
sphere connected to a couple of more spheres to make something like a globe
out of it? That would be similar to ASCII art.. since a E is made up of a
thousand tiny little E's. That's as best as I could make out of that
--Bowen--
Dec 18, 2001, 10:55pm
But that's not how he was explanining it.. LoL like ASCII art.. is drawn out
by all the characters.. how would that even be similar? :) Sorry it's hard
to understand this.

Wow I agree with a lot of that :). I still enjoy building, it's one of the

Surveys are meant for the data to be realeased to the public *without
mentioning specific people*. What's the point in doing it if you're not
going to display the "shocking" truth about all the statistics. Yes I can
see why a company would want to research it, but if it's AW that conducted
it I'll understand. But I'd really like to see those results too. :)

His posts are fine.. if AW's going to violate business regulations and
laws.. something needs to be said. And while we're on this subject.. why

I'm sure he won't :) we can get on his butt if he does, how's that? :)
Oh and in response to my previous post.. the if AW violated regulations and
laws.. then something needs to be said.. well we know AW wouldn't do that.
If they did they'd quickly fix it. Noelle didn't just say that he had to do
it.. there was another option to call in.. truth is I wouldn't send any
vital info over e-mail either :). But they didn't straight out ask for the
Card #.. just for the information about the card.. Hope AW doesn't hate me
for saying that something needs to be said if they violate laws ;) hehe.

Well.. most of them are from the "old" days when the world was a lot
different.. It really has no place in modern day English-speaking places.
Damn isn't a bad word, the same way Hell isn't. There's worse words that
people should be concerned with. Now if someone was saying "DAMN YOU" yes,

LMAO yeah "chatturz" works for them.
I used "hacker" like that because that's why they do it :).. they want to be
thought of as hackers but they're nothing more then 12 year old kiddies..
maybe of the script variety. True hackers follow written English

Cozmo's right.. that's how hacker wannabe's talk.. and it's "leet".. Elete
*Elite* wouldn't be the proper spelling of it. Ask Andras or Ananas how
they speak English.. I bet they follow the rules pretty closely.. they are
hackers to the true definition :). Most true hackers are offended by
"cracker" like talking. Including the use of the z for s.. ie appz, crackz,
etc al.

You're thinking cracker ;).. Hackers are people who know an extreme amount
of information on computers, networks, hardware, software, and programming
languages. People who talk like that are saying they're hackers.. while
they may be somewhat they're trying to imitate "crackers" because they want
to make you think they can do things they really can't :) On the other
hand, a hacker won't really care what you think he can do.. he'll just do it
if it needs to be done.
