Yeah it doesn't start with an icon for me, being in the 9x version.. must be
you're doing it as a service but that's ok.. my version works for me, I'll
see this weekend if I can get it to work on my older computer.

Yeah my computer was too fast before.. so I threw in about 2 enters.. that
solved it.. figured in a lot of people aren't on as fast as a PC as I am, so
I threw in about.. oh 15 enters to fix that.. I tried to account.. if not
I'll put a 10 second sleep in if that's the case with my old 286 PC (has
win95 lmao) :)

He should've been warned. Clearly that's an abuse of powers. I don't see
any warning to Trekker, either to stop using caps or discontinue the ideas.
Although I don't agree with what was said I don't think it should've been a
BAM you're gone type ejection... that is an AWCom world. Excuse my rant :)
--Bowen--
Dec 2, 2001, 9:56pm
It wasn't a warning of the eminent ejection. It was just a "please stop
talking about this" warning. If everyone else had continued to talk about
it I doubt he'd have ejected everyone, the point is before you eject someone
in an AWCom owned world you're supposed to follow the PK guidelines.. issue
about 3 warnings.. if it continues then eject. Even though I don't agree
with what he said, you still can't go around the guidelines for just him,
that is unless he's been ejected numerous times for the same reason. It was
an open discussion, I assume. A whipser would've even been enough to tell
him to stop :)
--Bowen--
Dec 3, 2001, 3:09am

Yes those are all terms of ejection.. I agree with him being ejected.. I
just don't agree with how it was done.. he wasn't even given a warning from
what I can tell. Any person who ejects someone from an AWCom world *must*
issue at least 2 warnings before the actual eject. I've not only read this
in the PK world (when it was open) but also have talked with a few
PeaceKeepers.

Exactly my point, unfair ejection. And if you're going to eject for being
rude with shouting and voilating the G/PG rating you must give warnings much
like AWGate. "Repeat offender, that's why. It says explicitly that you're
supposed to
recieve at least 2 warnings at AW911. Acting like a moron is not a term of
ejection." is my response to someone who e-mailed me a minute ago saying I
was nuts because he's never warned when he's joined.

That's still not the point, there's rules to follow are for everyone.. not
just the people who do the "unwanted" things. Everyone has to follow it,
wether it be acting normal or warning someone that what they're doing is not
acceptable for the time or area. I still don't agree with what trekker
said.. but I don't agree at all that he wasn't given at least one warning
that he was about to be ejected. Then he would've stopped, but there's the
chance he didn't know better and wouldn't have stopped.. that's when you do
eject. It's a tool and really not something that should be abused at all.
Sorry to be harsh if that's what I'm sounding like.

Sorry none of what Trekker said was profane or vulgar, but that's subject to
dispute since it could mean anything. When some of the tourists say this
phrase very often, please pardon me, "cum here" they're not ejected. That
could be profane or vulgar, but the people whom say it are NOT immediately
ejected.. the terms for Trekker's ejection were stated as him being a moron,
that is not in the guidelines. This is a clear abuse of power and should be
taken care of immediately, since the fact is, the person was prejudicial
towards Trekker since it seems that he had preconceptions to whom Trekker
is. The fact stands that there should be a warning issued, one would have
been enough to make him stop. Fetish and strip club are not vulgar in their
content since A. Fetish means an obsession in things B. Strip clubs are
usually in communities and C. strip club is not a violation of PG language,
nor is fetish. He may have been shouting.. thus there should have been a
calm warning saying "Trekker, please do not shout in all caps, thank you."
My point is not gone. If you'd like to look up the words fetish and/or
strip, there's an online dictionary at www.dictionary.com . And I will say
again, I do not agree with what trekker said or did, but I do think there
should have been at least one warning to tell him to stop before he was
ejected.

That's then, this is now, times change. I remember my dad saying burgers

Tell me how this is worse then strip club or fetish? Oh oh wait it's not..
may I restate again it's abuse of power and this needs to be taken care of.
I could go to AWTeen any time of the day and get something like this.
TrekkerX was ejected for no reason. 2200 happens to have said worse words..
and still not have been ejected? Get real. If you're going to argue with
me that TrekkerX is completely wrong that he was unfairly ejected you're not
