That's JP's --Bowen-- Killing my ProcessorJul 28, 2002, 2:10am
Use linux for AW:
http://www.omegauniverse.com/awlin34.jpg Works better than dx8 mode in Windows and it's all Software mode. I can give details on how to get it working if you're bold enough (pre 3.4 versions have some nasty bugs you'll have to get used to). --Bowen-- [View Quote] Killing my ProcessorJul 28, 2002, 1:39pm

That's illegal my friend. If you do this, you will be considered a "cracker" and no longer be able to install XP with your current key. Don't auto accept cookies, and don't go to sex websites, you're saved from those 2. --Bowen-- Killing my ProcessorJul 28, 2002, 2:14pm

Ah to your knowledge yes. Microsoft doesn't make everything known either.
There's some secret files they use for making their programs that they don't release. --Bowen-- [View Quote] Killing my ProcessorJul 28, 2002, 2:39pm
Nah, the freedom of information acts don't include what your computer sends
about what you do. --Bowen-- [View Quote] Killing my ProcessorJul 28, 2002, 3:07pm
I don't think we have that here in the US. The only way it would is if the
gov't collects it, and keeps it on file. Not what a company does by tricking you into agreeing to it in the EULA. --Bowen-- [View Quote] Re: model error... somewhatJul 29, 2002, 1:47pm

You said yourself that someone was on his privs. That would mean that he
could eject (and especially if he's on someone elses he has no ejection protection). --Bowen-- [View Quote] ejection bugAug 1, 2002, 10:37pm
Make more sense in your posts if you want me to understand them correctly.
Paragraphs are a wonderful thing. --Bowen-- [View Quote] ejection bugAug 2, 2002, 12:21am
It was your choice to post in hopes of getting an answer. Quite simply, if
you wanted help or rather "reasons" to why it happened, you should've made it more clear. But it's moot. --Bowen-- [View Quote] ejection bugAug 2, 2002, 1:08am
He's just mad at me because I didn't let him into my awesomely uberific
world that's so full of objects everyone but him was in it (all 4 of them). So I assume he's trying to vent on me everywhere. Paragraphs are the bomb though, people don't realize how great they are and how fun they are to use. :) --Bowen-- [View Quote] ejection bugAug 2, 2002, 3:56am

If you didn't want me to retort back to you, why did you insintantly call me gay? Right on. > hah...ok then...don't come flaming me ... you think it's all me being an ass I'm flaming now; too bad, so sad. > and trying to start things...think what you want...and what not, and I > wasn't trying to flame you, just reply...I'm done with these horrible > newsgroups and the awful people that dwell within them, I at the least wont > be starting any topics (aka arguements) from now on..it's waste of my time > (yes I don't have the time to sit here and explain everything...and on every > other post...) *clap* I really do think you're still being dorky because I wouldn't let you into my world. I'm sure you would come back and say something to this affect "No, I really don't care." Or rather something of that sort, most people would. Oh well. If you didn't want a flame, you shouldn't have posted what you did. --Bowen-- ejection bugAug 2, 2002, 2:57pm

I'm suddenly beginning to think Insanity wasn't that bad of a person...
--Bowen-- Another AW employee gone!Aug 5, 2002, 10:39pm
Argh I'm sick of this split personality CRAP. You don't hear the voices in
your head as other people, thus you are JFK1, 2, 3, or whatever combination you want. --Bowen-- [View Quote] Another AW employee gone!Aug 6, 2002, 5:29am
I'm going to eat your brains if you don't stop soon...
--Bowen-- Another AW employee gone!Aug 6, 2002, 5:40am
Good god, I tried to stay out of this silly debate but it's gone too wiley.
> As i keep telling you I have no idea who JFK2 is? Your newsreader headers clearly state that you are either Mr. Kieffer who lives in Syracuse, NY or a very, very good cracker (which you are not). > BUT i can tell you who he isn't.... Tell me, tell me master! > He isn't JFK1 as the only JFK1 died in an unfortunate incident in 1963. John F. Kennedy did. There is no 1 in his name. Acronyms are a funny thing, people always think you're talking about something/one else. > He isn't plain old JFK as there is allready someone with a CIT that uses > the name JFK in AW. [Or at least DID as of the last time he told me he > tried to use that name sometime back about 2 yrs ago.] Proabably. It was a sarcastic comment. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear. > He isn't JFK2 as there isn't a JFK2... YET. There is a GFK but no JFK2 I'm lost again, I really need to find some more frogs to lick... > Now i do know that there is this dude in many Uni's including AWEDU > Universe that uses the name of either Just In or [UNI Just In as in OW > Just In for instance...] > > Maybe who you seek is Just In in some far of Galaxy [Sally's Place, 3DEE, > Phoenix] or Just In in some far off Universe. > > BUT i do know that there isn't any JFK2 in AW... > All that there is in aw is OhhhhMy Please do not start with the third person again, it is quite annoying to say the least. I'm simply saying you are all one in the same, just like Insanity is Filmkr is Lars Wyka (sorry it's the only comparison I could think of at 3:20 in the morning). "JFK2" has been known to notoriously plug OW in as many ways as he can, in newsgroups, e-mails, etc, and you've done that as well. The newsreader headings do not lie, as I stated earlier. I hope to all hopes this will be the last post I have to put in this thread that has any substantial information whatsoever. --Bowen-- Another AW employee gone!Aug 6, 2002, 5:40am

After you gain such intelligence of the > likes.... You might want to donate some poor person your weak minded > brains.... [ME] Some brain is better than no brain. I would guess your IQ is 90 from that statement. But no you'll come back and tell me it's 130 or something of that sort. You just said you were smarter, why would you need to be smart if you're already smart? Right, you contradicted yourself, good job. > You see.... By eating my brains.... What joy and pleasures you can > have.... After you read this i'm sure you will pack your bags and head > to the nearest door and head to whereever you think this poor dude may be > located... [Last time i looked i thought i was under some bridge in > Summerland Estates.... But i could be wrong.] Gerald Kieffer, your seemingly alter ego, lives in Syracuse NY. As do most of the other freaking Kieffer's. *snip useless garbage* You seem to talk about nothing when you're bored. I think you like to start fights. --Bowen-- Another AW employee gone!Aug 7, 2002, 8:27pm

DOS understands filenames. That's why windows pre95 had the 8 character
limit on filenames... --Bowen-- [View Quote] help? :-\Aug 7, 2002, 1:47am
[View Quote]
Yeah, that's how it worked.
> Newer versions of Windows aren't based off of DOS. Now you need a boot disk > to get to just DOS. Windows now only supports the command line... Still based on DOS code, it just doesn't use the standard interface for it. Unless they went to rewrite the kernel from scratch (which they obviously would never do until they absolutely needed it *cough*64bitwindows*cough*). They add and subtract things from their kernel since Windows95, that's why there's so many errors with kernel32.dll. --Bowen-- help? :-\Aug 7, 2002, 2:48am

LoL well, NT was based off of 3.11 which was based off of 3.1 which was a DOS shell. --Bowen-- help? :-\Aug 7, 2002, 3:17am

All 16-Bit DOS programs are > executed by the emulation and 16-bit windows programs each have > their own virtual machine. > For NT they took several ideas from Unix and implemented them, > or at least tried to *g Yeah I think 3.5 was based really a lot on 3.11 so it basically used Dos. I would imagein NT used that, they put in BSD code in XP. That's probably why it's better at not crashing. > Win95 (which was based on 3.11) boots a DOS with some 32-Bit > extensions and then boots the "kernel" from there. I think you > mixed those two up. Isn't that what I said? It's late. 3.1(1) is a dork to keep track of. --Bowen-- help? :-\Aug 7, 2002, 3:16pm
> Always thought they stole most of NT from IBM in their 'joint' OS/2
> project? LoL Microsoft steals everything from everybody. Weren't win3.1 and win95 based on 2 of the mac versions? Then so was XP (kind of based on OSX). They usually just steal bits and pieces of other OS's and jam them in there. --Bowen-- Teleportation - Flitting all over the place?Aug 8, 2002, 1:29pm
