As none of you know, I became a PK trainee this week. :) Yes, my friends,
I've gone over to the Dark Side, but I and my fellow Star Wars nut on the
Force think it's for the better.

I just want you all to know that whatever I may post here on this message
board is my opinion, and not that of the Peacekeepers, AWCI, or any other
Empirical organization. ;)

So uh, May the Force be with you, for lack of a better term. Peacekeepers
Force, that is.

In case anybody wants to know...

I like staying at inns and eating and sleeping all day. >:)

If you're not an SW City fan, you probably won't get this. Of course, this
week has been relativily droll in the NGs, so this was all I could think of.
Next week's will be better. I promise.

When I become a full-fledged PK, I won't have any jurisdiction in this NG,
but I can make suggestions. ;)

Shoving facts in his face only makes the situation worse. It hurts the
person on the other end, and let's not forget that. Several people have
done this, and not just Lane.

Next time Lanezeri comes at someone with a searing remark, don't hit back,
and vice-versa. It'll make the NGs a lot better place, I think.

SW City Birthday Bash 2001!

Greetings!

I'm SW Chris, Governor of James River, a subcommunity of SW City, and the
Events Coordinator for the city. Brant just invited the community to AW
Survivor Challenge II: Frozen Desert, and I would like to extend the same
invitation for SW City's 2nd birthday bash.

Events will be held all the first week in April. Participate in such
challenges as a building competition, the now famous Wacky Races (Thanks
Kmissile583K!), Paintball Royale, baseball, and tennis matches. Lanezeri
(nods to Lane) has also been gracious enough to host a game of ScRaM for us.
For those of you who don't know, ScRaM is a popular word unscrambling game.

We may have prizes, but not promises. Mostly we want everyone to have a
good time! :) So come down to SW City Community Events Center at aw 2212.9S
3600.6E 90 or go to http://www.swcity.net/ and click on the link to the 2nd
Birthday Bash Website for more information, event times, locations, and
dates.

Random Thought of the Week #5

This week has come and gone so fast, and in that week all my lots in James
River filled up! Wow. They've sat empty there for ages and all of a sudden
I get a huge rush. I'll be putting more up soon, and I"m working on a new
"time-travel" adventure there too. See if you can find it. >:) The
coordinates for JR are 2270S 3480E. Happy hunting. :)

Actually, you CAN reinstall Windows 98 over your existing copy of Windows
98. Your system will be refreshed, your programs will still work, but any
customizations to the Explorer shell will be lost. I don't know if
reinstalling will work, though. Your best bet is to find someone locally
who can either come over and work on your computer or take it to their shop
and fix it (i.e. a computer repair shop)

Actually I've had to reinstall several times. And yes I have ME. =D
Windows Setup will scan your registry and preserve those entries that other
programs have made, thus letting you keep everything working after
reinstallation. ME should do then whether you're runnign setup from Windows
or DOS. But to make doubly sure it does scan your registry, run setup in a
Windows session.

Um.. eep.. black light works when you use the command "create light
brightness=1000000000000000000000000000000000000000" Calling Comit those
things you did was totally uncalled for. I do have version 3.1, and this
works. Try it for yourself before passing judgement.

This is where the lines between "discrimination" and "morality" begin to get
fuzzy... I hate to tell ya, but there will be no resolution for some time
until the pro-gay or anti-gay group gets stamped out. Odd though... the
anti-gay group makes the term seem bigotous, because the word "anti" is in
there, which means "bad" to most people. Still I see a lot of people who
can't help (or won't help, depending on your viewpoint) that situation
simply because one of their key religious doctrines states that being gay is
not moral. I have a feeling though that the pro-gay will outshout the antis
in the first battle, though.

Kmissile583K gave me special permission to make this course. It's a =
standard course with a few new twists to the game thrown in.

Wednesday, April 4, 11 p.m. VRT - AW Baseball and AW Tennis
Play the very first versions of AW Baseball and AW Tennis all night =
tonight. Come at any time for AW Tennis, but show up early for AW =
Baseball! (The bot is stingy about letting people join after the game =

Thursday, April 5, 11 p.m. VRT - SW City Paintball Royale
This event is a single-elimination form of paintball. We will play on =
all four of SW City's paintball courses. Be the lone survivor at the =
end of each match to win.

Friday, April 6, 9 p.m. VRT - Palm Grove Building Contest
This is a classic building contest. Builds will be judged on character, =
architecture, creativeness, and inventiveness.

Friday, April 6, After the Building Contest - Closing Ceremonies and =
Fireworks Show
Soon after the building contest, join SW City's staff for a time of fun =
and drunken partying (well not really). The winners of the previous =
events will be officially recognized during the closing ceremonies, then =
sit back, relax, and enjoy the fireworks and light show under a canopy =
of stars!

Saturday, April 7, All Day - All Events
All events will be open periodically throughout the day. If you missed =
an event earlier in the week, come on Saturday to play. =20

The teleport station to these events can be found at the SW City =
Community Events Center, located at aw 2212.9S 3600.6E 90. Please show =
up at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the event. =20

SW City Birthday Bash 2001!

Greetings!

I'm SW Chris, Governor of James River, a subcommunity of SW City, and the
Events Coordinator for the city. SW City's 2nd Birthday bash is next week
and we want you all to come! One event will be held per day for the entire
next week, starting tomorrow, Sunday! Here's the skinny:

Sunday, April 1, 11 p.m. VRT - ScRaM
Be the first to unscramble all of the words.

(We are having problems with teh Scram bot, so if it's not running, then
we'll have Trivia instead.)

Monday, April 2, 11 p.m. VRT - SW City Best Builds Tour
Tour 10 of the best builds in SW City space. This tour comes highly
recommended, as several new builds and one recreation of a video game will
be unveiled for the first time during this tour.

Tuesday, April 3, 11 p.m. VRT - Wacky Races
Kmissile583K gave me special permission to make this course. It's a
standard course with a few new twists to the game thrown in.

Wednesday, April 4, 11 p.m. VRT - AW Baseball and AW Tennis
Play the very first versions of AW Baseball and AW Tennis all night tonight.
Come at any time for AW Tennis, but show up early for AW Baseball! (The bot
is stingy about letting people join after the game has started. =))

Thursday, April 5, 11 p.m. VRT - SW City Paintball Royale
This event is a single-elimination form of paintball. We will play on all
four of SW City's paintball courses. Be the lone survivor at the end of
each match to win.

Friday, April 6, 9 p.m. VRT - Palm Grove Building Contest
This is a classic building contest. Builds will be judged on character,
architecture, creativeness, and inventiveness.

Friday, April 6, After the Building Contest - Closing Ceremonies and
Fireworks Show
Soon after the building contest, join SW City's staff for a time of fun and

Saturday, April 7, All Day - All Events
All events will be open periodically throughout the day. If you missed an
event earlier in the week, come on Saturday to play.

The teleport station to these events can be found at the SW City Community
Events Center, located at aw 2212.9S 3600.6E 90. Please show up at least 15
minutes prior to the beginning of the event.
