I know that but I found that on Google search and now I don't like them.
Those Mac people are suspicious and distrustful of us the Windows user and we (so far just me anyway) are suspicious and distrustful of them. I mean, those Mac people didn't wanted Activeworlds and Aladdin Systems together just because of "Windows-only nature". That's pathetic. They didn't like Windows and Activeworlds and I don't like them (Mac community) either. Simple as that. -- Legion "I think, therefore I am" - Rene Descartes, 17th-century French philosopher, Earth [View Quote] joemanJul 25, 2003, 10:47pm

Maybe the plugin is broken. Not everything that goes wrong while you're running Windows is automatically Microsoft's fault.

Windows Auto update installed WMP 9, since then i couldnt play ANY DVD, the ones i bought and own and the ones from the Rental. It kept telling me i should disengage the TVout on my video card. But since i watch my DVD's on the TV that was not an option. Luckily there is a tool to unistall any version of WMP and reisntall a previous one. Now i run WMP 8.1 and can watch any DVD i want. Windows Update installed a patch which slowed down my compute rto a halt. Took me 2 days to revert. Do you think i disabled Windows Update? This are just 2 examples, if you want i can go on... baron sweetmanJul 29, 2003, 4:47pm

Other WMV files have worked on it though. It's like it's encoded to only
work properly on Windows Media Player... I mean I would expect it from Microsoft, what with the latest version of Media Player being made to only work on XP. Maybe WMVs have changed since the plugin was made (it's for Winamp, not
Winamp3... yes, they're actually two different programs O_O) "kah" <kah at kahnews.cjb.net> wrote this (news:Xns93CED5A9BB60Ekahatkahnewsdotcjbdo at 64.94.241.201) in general.discussion on 05 Aug 2003: > "tony m" <tony at homeunix.uni.cc> wrote in news:3f26de9e$1 > at server1.Activeworlds.com: > > > Some are a bit shaky though.
