or a way to have it "dock" onto the bottom tabs dialog box would be nice

Oh and a side note
Firefox for web and Thunderbird for e-mail/NG is the best :D

just my opinion, but no. i think the only reason microsoft stuff appear to
have more bugs, is because thier is more focus on them, because of the
amount of people who use it. i bet if firefox, and thunderbird had as much
focus, then they would have found just as many, if not more, bugs.

I agree. I've been wanting this ever since the release of 3.3 and its huge
object windows. If I could resize this annoying thing, or even have an
option to remove the toolbar on it, as I don't use that blasted thing
anyway, it'd be great.

I agree that a "toolbar remove" feature would help many builders who use the
keystrokes to build but...PLEASE don't ever get rid of the toolbar
completely, AW! I've been a mouser builder since 1998 and would hate to have
to learn all new keystrokes just to build! ; )

I use the keyboard to move stuff, not the buttons in the object dialog box
.... how bout you folks ... which do you use to build?
keyboard keys
object dialog buttons
both?
Only thing in the object dialog box I use is undo for which I don't know the
corresponding keyboard key LOL.

I've always used the buttons in the Object Properties exclusively for
building...it was the way I was taught from the beginning and never saw any
reason to do it differently : )

In fact, that's how I teach building to new builders in the AW software. My
building tutorial in two different universes are geared towards using the
Object Properties Box buttons to build. : D

I only use the object properties box to get the 3rd axis rotation since
there are no keys for it. Other than that and changing properties, I use
only keyboard commands to build.

The Home/End and Page Up/Page Down only do 2 axis and not the 3rd one as
well. Is there a way to set keys to do the other axis too?

I'm not sure about setting keys but my number pad / and * do the other axis.

I've never used the Object Properties Box either. I find it much easier to
use the keyboard. For all 3 axis rotations I use on my #pads Home-End,
PgUp-PgDn and /-* and can rotate all 3 axis'...also when using your
keyboard, one can hold the CTRL key when duplicating and the duplicated
object will automatically jump to the edge of the duplicated model, saving
me time to move it there 1 click at a time. Can build a wall miles long in
seconds this way. I don't know that that can be done with the Object
Properties Box.

Yeah, that can only be done with keystrokes as far as I know...I do that of
course but I still use the Object Properties box for just about everything
else...just the way I am, I guess ; )
