Variables inside the WM (Wishlist)
Variables inside the WM // WishlistdionJul 29, 2002, 1:47pm
It would be useful if there could be certain variables in the WM like the
avatar's name, citizen number, etc. Just a few things that would be useful at welcoming people to the world. :-) dionJul 29, 2002, 1:47pm
Oh, and also an option to disable the WM. That way I can just make my bot do
the WM. :-) [View Quote] makiJul 29, 2002, 2:29pm
if you restart your world with no attributes or anything it shouldn't say
anything, when I switched servers and didn't have my att's it didn't say any wm, switched back though, dunno if it works but it did that time :O -- maki www.awmaki.com [View Quote] bowenJul 29, 2002, 2:35pm
LoL it'll say "Welcome to Untitled, someone" like it's always said. If
there's no welcome message it displays the world title. Maybe if you load an ATdump with those 2 lines completely removed it won't say anything, but as soon as you change one it's all over. --Bowen-- [View Quote] eepJul 29, 2002, 5:25pm
WM? Let's not create any more non-standard AW acronyms (OP, etc) than is necessary, please...

Not a common one; in fact, first time I've heard of it and I've been using AW for over 5 years...

No, that's WMP (Windows Media Player--3 words).

Even that's not very common. What is it with all these lazy teenagers coming up with silly acronyms?

Welcome Message is a long thing. Normally I would type it out but I woke up
at 6 this morning and drove 3 hours after being on a weekend vacation at the beach so I'm just a bit tired. *snore* [View Quote] ananasJul 30, 2002, 2:45am
I changed my awm file to IO and BI, so even the browser
uses it *g I never heard WM for the world message before either and didn't understand Dion's post before I saw the first reply. [View Quote] |
