Notice of name change. // CommunityseiyaDec 21, 2003, 5:41am
Greetings, I am Ci, Redneck Bob, I was formerly known as Seiya Faye and have
attempted to make many new names, I decided I will make a final name change and call myself Seiya, it is actually the Japanese name for Sayer, which is a guy's name, I believe it has something to do with stars, a Japanese interpretation to that effect. So I would be very grateful for those who could adjust to my new name, thank you -Seiya lady nighthawkDec 21, 2003, 6:07am

Congratulations, Seiya, for deciding to stick to one name and be proud of
it! I hope to see many more Starbuilds by Seiya in the future! Lady Barbara (real name is Barbara) Amberlin [View Quote] anduinDec 21, 2003, 9:28am

You are right that AW is an online game and you are free to be as you please; just play it safe and let others know ;o) Hope to see more of your wonderful builds in the future. Lady was the name I went by as a tourist in AW. Right before I joined,
Lady, Cit Number 263205, got my name forcing me to choose another. The Lady is cit number 263414. It is interesting that I never saw Lady online. I looked for her green checkmark for a very long time to no avail. Also interesting to note that citizen number 263415 is Grouch. I saw Grouch online with a green checkmark, but never talking at GZ. (And she or he didn't answer telegrams.) Yes, I've had 4 other citizenships. One that came with a world, one was abandoned for a town name in AW and two others that I've used during my stay; however, I have not used them to be deceptive to any of my friends. Currently, I have one active, and that is the one I am posting this under. [View Quote] carlbanksDec 21, 2003, 11:29am
Well people think it's from Fresh Prince of Bel Air but seriously on
January 1st 2001 I signed up for http://www.thesimsresource.com where I somehow came up with CarlBanks and then found AW from a post and when I found out about the L error in AW I just applied it to my name and this is how CarLBanks came around. [View Quote] brockDec 21, 2003, 1:44pm
I still find it disturbing you pretended to be a girl for two years, and now
you come out and say your a guy? Maybe your just a really ugly girl? Maybe you have no actual friends? Maybe you are a girl/guy, if you get my drift...? -- Brock AW: 308723 Administrator: IceFlare Starbeam Network IceFlare Digital Entertainment [View Quote] lady nighthawkDec 21, 2003, 2:18pm
When I first came online I was in The Palace 2D chat, I was in IMs under a
couple other names but I wanted a name that signified my *up all night* persona. I didn't want to be Elvira for instance LOL, not THAT kinda up all night. So the word Nighthawk came to mind ... I know of a couple other Nighthawks so I changed the spelling to include a capital H and added Lady to signify my gender. Thus we have Lady NightHawk ... I am sorta getting tired of it tho, and there is another Lady Nighthawk online (no cap H in hers). It's a long name, something shorter might be nice ... who knows LOL. I am somewhat attached to it now since I've used it for over 5 yrs in both 2D and now 3D chats. My 2D friends get ticked when I change my name LOL, even tho they know it's me by the avs I wear. Whatz an avatar to do eh? Recently my hubby has come to AW, and to have a name that somewhat matched mine he goes by AerHawk ... Aer is the first three letters of our motorhome (AerBus) and Hawk to match me ... ain't he sweet? He has the cit that I got when I made my P20 bingo win into a P30 real world (Aeon). My cit is my first. Neither of us have been in aw since before early April this year and we are both on our one and only cits. So a dilema ... if I do change my name I've gotta keep the Hawk part LOL ... any ideas? *§ Lady NightHawk §* <<< the fancy version LOL, sure wish AW accepted funky characters in one's name! Name calling and mud slinging are not productive wether it's one
person doing it or another. What you just said amounts to 'he/she started it so it's acceptable', but that is a lame excuse used by children before they figure out it just doesn't carry any weight in the real world. Behaving like a jerk starts and ends with the jerk. The behaviour of other jerks is irrellevant. And just as Brock has chosen to 'pick on' someone, I am free to choose someone to 'pick on' too. You can pick on Seiya if you want to.. but I think I will pick on Brock if that's OK with you. Hey... pick on me if you want to. If this catches on, maybe we could arrange for some kind of buddy system where it matches you up against good potential enemies. You could survey people to ask them to rate their opinion on all the nasty issues that people argue over in here, and then present them with a list of potential candidates for their 'nemesis'. Choosing an enemy can be such a bother these days. Think of all the time that could be saved going to soccer games and eyeing the people rooting for the other team, having to talk to people to find out if you are incompatible in all the right areas, not to mention all the time spent having minor disagreements and arguments with them leading up to the big day you decide they are 'the one', and taking them completely into your life as a full fledged no holds barred arch rival. So often... you find someone you think is perfect, but then they go and pull a fast one on you and agree with you on something or maybe apologize for wronging you and then your hard earned enemy is suddenly just another friend, and then you have to go looking all over again. It can really wear you down. It can make you want to give up the idea of ever finding your 'soul enemy', but you have to keep your chin up and keep looking. There is always hope. alaskanshadowDec 21, 2003, 4:56pm
It's not a matter of being enemies. I just see it as kind of stupid of you
to defend someone who harasses people themselves. It clearly shows you have no idea what Seiya is like, and in that case, you should not even get involved with personal disputes. [View Quote] tart sugarDec 21, 2003, 5:08pm
Well - I may get slammed for saying this, BUT - I have never had a problem
with Seiya. Granted, my encounters with Seiya were few and far between, but I was always courteous and friendly and Seiya responded in kind. Perhaps we reap what we sow? Tart Sugar A little tart sugar will put a permanent pucker on yer kisser. [View Quote] alaskanshadowDec 21, 2003, 5:20pm

The stupidity of my post is in your perception of it's purpose.
I wasn't defending anyone. I judge people by their actions, and I have not seen any of Seiyas actions so I am not about to judge him/her. I *have* seen a lot of actions by Brock though, and I was identifying Brocks lame hate post as uninventive name calling without substance. Brock has chosen to make enemies. I just won't remain silent like the others. My purpose was to clearly point out once again that Brock in particular seems to only ever post negative demeaning comments about others without providing any substantiation to them. That isn't to say that other people don't do it as well, but Brock seems to do nothing but that. Brock seems to do it in a very clear pattern. There are other people posting about Sieya and Elven Princess but in general the other posters have specific issues on their mind and are not posting name calling and hateful comments like Brock is. They in fact state flatly that their posts are not motivated by the gender choices of the person they have an issue with, but with the persons behaviour in a given context. > Maybe your just a really ugly girl? > Maybe you have no actual friends? > Maybe you are a girl/guy, if you get my drift...? Those comments have nothing to do with any actions Seiya might have made. They are attacks based purely on hate and prejudice and meant solely to harm the person emotionally and to undermine their reputation with others without evidence. The comments also demean: less attractive people people with fewer friends people of uncertain gender Brock has therefore attacked anyone who is less attractive, who may not have a lot of friends, or who may have a gender issue. He has attacked people he doesn't even know with no cause at all solely on the basis of these attributes which the people he is attacking have no control over. That fits the legal definition of discrimination, and that is why my post really had very little to do with Seiya. Comments such as Brock routinely makes here would lead to instant dismissal from any modern workplace, and ought to be grounds for dismissal from these groups as well. I believe that according to the NG charter, they do actually constitute grounds for revocation of posting priviliges. Would you not agree that those comments above constitute blind hatred toward certain groups of people based solely on the people being part of that group? There is never any reason to his posts. Never any logic, or convincing arguments, or evidence. His posts only ever contain hearsay at best, and in any court of law, he would be guilty of slander, libel, hate crimes, stalking, harrasment and other real life crimes. This is not hearsay either. Everyone in these groups has read his posts themselves, so the evidence of this pattern of behaviour is not a matter of conjecture like his unsubstantiated accusations are. Such crimes generally are judged by the presence of a clear pattern of harrasment and hate, and it is establishing such a clear pattern, and pointing out that pattern to everyone that is my current concern. And personally I find it stupid of you to defend him if that's what you're doing. If you are, I point out once again that one persons misbehaviour has nothing to do with someone elses. If you think I am stupid because I won't ignore Brock's lame hate posts because he has shifted them to someone more 'worthy' of being targetted for harrassment, then I really don't care to try to fit into your definitions of right and wrong, smart or stupid anyway. No matter who he chooses to target, I will make sure that if it contains any bigotry, racial slurs, hatred, homophobia, slanders, or other such hate content that it's clearly identified as such. 77Dec 21, 2003, 7:09pm
I agree with tart on that I have had same experience with seiya and have
never been treated badly, so maybe it was you that started it maybe it was jealousy of seiya getting more attention than you did [View Quote] alaskanshadowDec 21, 2003, 7:29pm
You seem to think I'm jealous. of what may I ask? a person who is conniving?
a person who enjoys hurting others? a person who's so caught up in their so called "talent" for building they're monsters to anyone who gets in their way? Sir, you have got to be kidding me. Forgive me if I have no respect for a cit stealing, vandalising, all around obnoxious person. Now if you choose to come up with stupid reasons why I hate seiya, be my guest. but I think you'll find it much easier to just ask me-I have no problem with telling you people my honest opinion on things, and in my opinion-Seiya is one of the few people in AW who I will never even think of respecting. Not just because of their grudge towards me for figuring out their whole AW life was a lie, but because they're a malicious person to others. I can't believe you respect someone just because they build well. That's completely shallow. Judge people by their character, not who you wish you could be. I refuse to show any ounce of respect to someone who consistantly lies and steals to hype their rep.You seem to enjoy assuming things-assuming I'm a guy who had a thing for Seiya, for example, which in reality is quite the opposite. How about you go on the facts? Then again, how could you? you have yet to even take into account what kind of person seiya is, and all you see is building talent. So please, call me a horrible, jealous, witch. Your opinion is worthless to me simply for the fact that on this subject you are highly uneducated. So be it. [View Quote] alaskanshadowDec 21, 2003, 7:42pm
Perhaps you havent heard of all the nasty stories Seiya has told people.
About being raped by her brother, boyfriend and father. about nearly being killed by a psycho in a parking lot. about committing suicide. Maybe you arent aware of the numerous AW boyfriends Seiya has had, and used. Or about the cit seiya stole so he could enter a building contest twice. How about when it vandalised someones build and refused to delete it? or when it spammed a forum with racial slurs? are you familiar with its story regarding cheerleaders breaking into its house? Did she/he mention to you ever how her parents were apparently abusive? and did seiya at all mention that all of the stories he told were lies for attention? guess not. it's bullshit like this which disgusts me. somewhere theres a kid really living with an abusive family. or a person who was raped. and all seiya does is make up stories about it to gain attention and sympathy. This is why I don't respect them. I found out his pics were fake. what did he do? he lied to me some more to keep me from telling people. He says he'll change and become respectful. What does he do? he impersonates me here on the NGs. That, is why I don't respect this person. [View Quote] mayor tazDec 21, 2003, 7:45pm

all I can say AS is that I judge ppl by the way that they act toward me and
weather I want them as a friend or not and seiya has done nothing to me nor have I heard anything about him stealing cits or anything else that you claim happened so it is here say. But you on the other hand have come off looking very hateful and spiteful person. Did seiya really do any thing physically or mentally to you to make you fill your heart with so much hatred that you not only spread that hatred to me but probably people around you in real life. Have you ever heard of the saying "get over it" and get on with your life and if you don't want anything to do with seiya then don't but don't sit here on the NGs trashing someone that just might be trying to start new and a more truthful existence in AW and hopes that the people that were his friends in the past will forgive him because the way I see it looks like he is sorry for the deception and straightening out [View Quote] alaskanshadowDec 21, 2003, 8:10pm
Yes, actually Seiya has on many accounts harassed me. Recently, if you have
not noticed, he decided to impersonate me here on the NGs. Seiya has hurt many of my friends, and has been an all around horrible person to me. So if he was really sorry and wanted to start over, he's stop harassing me and others. Of course you don't see him doing that because he will act like nothing ever happened. I'm not trashing seiya, I'm simply stating the facts. if you cannot accept that, I have to assume you are either blind or in denial. [View Quote] 77Dec 21, 2003, 8:23pm
