Hi Everybody!

Even though I've been in AW since December, I've finally subscribed fully to
several of the AW lists and just want to say hello!

My name is Barbara Eisner -- After being in The Palace for several years, I
finally decided to spread my wings and explore different universes. I've
been enjoying myself thoroughly visiting other worlds and playing around in
a friend's world. Just a few days ago, I finally dove in and bought myself
a P30 world named "Amberlin"!!!!!

I'm having so much fun just exploring the Megapath and starting to build!
Are there many out there that have used the Megapath? There are several
surprises: a complete set (in several textures) of new hills and building
pieces that are much more natural (Nature Theme). I was just wondering if
anybody has set up a yard displaying all the various objects and textures
from the Megapath.

I've encountered a particular set of paths and ground pieces in a couple of
worlds. I was told they were from Nomad's Terrain Building Kit, a freebie
collection. Does anybody know where I might find a set?

I would love to take a class in AW landscaping -- for instance: How to make
your world seem much bigger than it really is by paths zigzagging and
obstructing the horizon, etc.

A happy builder,
Barbara Eisner

Welcome aboard. :) Some advice though, try not to cross post to unrelated
newsgroups. *didn't know what cross posting was until I used AW*

Hiya :P Welcome to the ng's :-) I'm sure some people are beginning to use
the megapath, but mostly the megapath objects on their own object paths,
that way it's nice and easy to add any objects, textures, avs or anything
else - and sorry I'm not much for landscaping :-)

To prevent cross-posting on your reply, you need to manually delete out all
news groups except the one from which you read the post when you hit reply.
This is what I do with OE, and what I did with this post -

The number of objects is mind boggling these days. What to keep, what to
toss *yanks hair*

As far as landscapes go, I've seen folks make their world an entire mountain
range to give the impression there is more land. I've also seen worlds
built on tiers, so the land is staggered (breaks up the flow, tho).
