Same with these 2 warnings I get EVERY time I log into AW?

Dr. Suess' take on it...

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort,
and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report.

If your curser finds a menu item followed by a dash,
and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash,
and your data is corrupted cause the index doesn't hash,
then your situation's hopeless and your system's gonna crash!!

If the label on the cable on the table at your house,
says the network is connected to the button on your mouse,
but your packets want to tunnel to another protocol,
that's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall.

And your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss,
so your icons in the window are as wavey as a souse,
then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang,
'cuz sure as I'm a poet the sucker's gonna hang!!

When the copy of your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk,
and the macro code instructions cause unneccessary risk,
then you'll have to flash the memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM,
quickly turn off the computer and sure to tell your MOM!!!

Hello, friends! Great news!!! The Cy Awards are back!

The ceremony will be held June 24th at 8 PM VRT The nomination dates will
be annouced soon and what procedures to use. Voting will start soon after so
it will be coming fast!!!

Please be thinking of who and what you would like to nominate and by all
means participate. The awards are a celebration for all of us. This year's
theme for the CY Awards is "Transition to the Future".

The nominations this year will start on May 26th and will end on June 3rd.
Then the voting will start on June 10th and end on June 14th.
On June 24th the winners will be announced on the CY Awards world and
simulcast on The EDGE Radio.

The CYs are in need of photographers to capture the magic of the awards
ceremony.
Several ppl will be posted in the Theater and Ballroom to take screen shots
of the festivites and all the excitement of the winners accepting their
award.

I'm sorry.
You misunderstood something. I never said "official".

We do not have an "official" photographer. We just want to be sure that ALL
the important moments at the CYs are captured. That's why we want several
ppl stationed at specific areas to be sure of that.
If a Cit has some intersting screen shots we'll be more than happy to use
them.

Each year the CYs change. New builds. New colors. I'm sure there are some
fantastic pics of CYs past, but we really want pics of the 2006 CYs.
LOTS of new builds and totally redone in terms of colors.

rarely saw my friends. I was just learning how to use a computer, but
surfing the web didn't hold my interest. I saw AW as a way to connect with

a part of the GK org. and helping newbies learn the program and directing
them to interesting sites in AW. Hopefully they'll be as excited about AW as
I am.

Dozens of various builds, but nothing really noteworthy. I build for my own
pleasure.

It's almost time for the CY nominations to begin! Start thinking about who
or what you would like to nominate for a CY award and on May 26th the
Cyawards world will open to the public so you can cast your votes! You will
have a full week to decide before the nominations close.

There have been lots of new builds, lots of new worlds and lots of
inovations this past year. Let's all make the 2006 CY Awards the best one
yet! After all, the CYs are all about you - the CommunitY.

There is a simple policy for world ratings. Any world with a rating of G
through R can be nominated in the categories listed.
Remember - pornography is not allowed and will be eliminated from the
process. This is as fair as it can be to all parties concerned.

ty, Syntax : ) and I agree.

Lady TeaL has done a wonderful job of bringing it all together.
The CYs are AW's version of the People's Choice Awards. This year the new
builds and new towns and cities plus some fantastic worlds and web sites and
all the inovations ppl are making with bots and new objects, textures and
terrain shoulds make the 2006 CY Awards show an event to remember.
