I am the very model of a Newsgroup personality.
I intersperse obscenity with tedious banality.
Addresses I have plenty of, both genuine and ghosted too,
On all the countless newsgroups that my drivel is cross-posted to.
Your bandwidth I will fritter with my whining and my snivelling,
And you're the one who pays the bill, downloading all my drivelling.
My enemies are numerous, and no-one would be blaming you
For cracking my head open after I've been rudely flaming you.

I hate to lose an argument (by now I should be used to it).
I wouldn't know a valid point if I was introduced to it.
My learning is extensive but consists of mindless trivia,
Designed to fan my ego, which is larger than Bolivia.
The comments that I vomit forth, disguised as jest and drollery,
Are really just an exercise in unremitting trollery.
I say I'm frank and forthright, but that's merely lies and vanity,
The gibberings of one who's at the limits of his sanity.

If only I could get a life, as many people tell me to;
If only Mom could find a circus freak-show she could sell me to;
If I go off to Zanzibar to paint the local scenery;
If I lose all my fingers in a mishap with machinery;
If I survive to twenty, which is somewhat problematical;
If what I post was more mature, or slightly more grammatical;
If I could learn to spell a bit, and maybe even punctuate;
Would I still be the loathsome and objectionable punk you hate?

But while I have this tiresome urge to prance around and show my face,
It simply isn't safe for normal people here in cyberspace.
To stick me in Old Sparky and turn on the electricity
Would be a fitting punishment for my egocentricity.
I always have the last word; so, with uttermost finality,

Dear Diary,

Well, here we are. I've met my team-mates, and I'm very happy with them. I
doubt I could of asked for a better group of people. I will admit, I
disagreed with some people, but I'm still happy with them.
This evening we had the first event. I was disappointed that more of my team
weren't there, but I had to drop out because Rod. were down 1.
I am upset about the objects being deleted. I can deduce that whoever is
doing it has something against the females of the group, on account that
both females have had items deleted. I also believe someone from Rod. are
deleting things. First, the childish individual deletes an object from the
opposite team, then, when they realise that their team might be blamed, they
delete an object from their own team, to disspell suspicion.

Anywhoo, not long till we vote 1 team member off.

Oh, and for the record, the magic man isn't afraid of any pathetic little
tweety.

Hey people...I'm gonna be taking some time off for a while, due to an
illness that is becoming increasingly worse. I will not be on AW, but I will
be around to answer e-mail's ect.

WOULD YOU LOT SHUT UP AND STOP BICKERING!!!!

I try as hard as I can to stay silent in these arguements, but the way
in which you are talking these days are really getting to me. As Student
Union President and South Wales rep., I believe in group work, so that
together we can achieve our full potential. Believe me, its hard work.
In the 3 years I have been a cit, I have never ever come across any
major complaints about the CY Awards as I have done this past month. WE are
a community. Can we not try and work as one? Yes, the CY Exec. Team made
some mistakes, but can any of you say you are perfect? I know I can't. Those
who have known me for a while know of my mistakes. If everyone was perfect,
what a boring place this would be.
Alot of people are saying that AWC (or whatever its called) will drive
us into the ground. I disagree. It'll be there very community, US, that'll
finish us off. HenrikG has the right idea. He "definitly [does] not get
involved with the coldness of these newsgroups". Do you blame him? Another
thing...you all complained about Eep. Now look at yourselves! Your getting
as bad as him.
I once had respect for those who read and posted on this NG, but these
days, it makes me feel ashamed to read it. On the matter of the CY's. Give
the peeps a chance! You've made your complaint, and now nomination's have
gone in for the new Exec. Team. Patience is a virtue! I personally support
ANYONE who can stand up and say "I'm doing this event. Come join in". Bravo
to you.
Now, if I have a problem with something or someone, I tell them.
However, once I tell them, thats it. It does no good to dwell on negative
matters. If you do have a problem however, try some CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM!
It goes a long way, and the person you shared the criticism with won't feel
so bad. Now, c'mon peeps, enough is enough.

Please feel free to flame. I don't care anymore.

Ahhh well...it was a bit of fun everyone! No hard feelings! Now Nornny,
shouldn't the women of the group go back to the kitchen where they belong?
If they can reach the computer, someone needs to shorten the chain. Just

No folks, this isn't another poem, just something I felt that should be
said.

I have been a citizen for 3 years now, and before then, a tourist for 2. I
have always tried to support everyone and everything relating to the
community in AW, and 9 times out of 10, we have succeeded. Recently, there
has been alot of trouble and argueing over the CY Awards, Gorean, maki, Bit,
TZ and various other people and organisations. Now, everyone makes mistakes.
I am sure if ya ask flynn1 at AWGate, she will tell you what I did 3 years
ago, which was one of my mistakes. The only one around who is perfect is
Eric and Mary Poppins (Eric is God btw).

I will support anyone who gives up their time to help out in anyway they
can, and I have great respect for all our community leaders and assistants
in exec. committee's, and I am sure, that all of you, despite the negativity
that is floating around feel the same way too.

Now, the best step forward is to group together, and work out the problems.
Despite Goober's "Countdown to Shutdown", I still say we are going strong. I
just hope, since this post is neutral, E N Z O won't delete it.
