I run Windows 98 and it gave me the same message every time I started (I had
installed the beta version and then uninstalled it when I ran into the
message. But it still came up). I then just uninstalled all my
ActiveWorlds and went to their site and downloaded the new version again.
This fixed the problem. Of course I was stupid and forgot to save a copy of
the teleport.txt file before I uninstalled!

Well said paul. For my part, as for most of us I suppose, AW is just a
small part of our lives that gives many of us another outlet for creativity
(cheap compared to many other hobbies). Out where I build in AW, I don't
get many visitors, but I can always go visit ground zero or places I've made
AW friends when I get bored creating things and strike up a conversation
with people from all parts of the earth. Pretty amazing ... AW is a way we
can really reach out (way out) and touch someone.

My biggest gripe is the lack of 3D Trees. And the lack of move and rotate
commands for Alpha Prime.

I seldom put in my 2 cents, but since we're paying a lot more than that now
.... I too would like to see the original AW have 3-axis object rotation
enabled!

I hadn't noticed ... that will make a big difference in the terrain that I
can make more interesting now. I also just found out that Tourists can go
to the original AW once again (without building rights). Finally!

How about mirror surfaces that show reflections. Even a simple flat mirror
would be better than nothing.
