There should be a voice kind of thing like There.com where u just talk into
ur mic and theres a setting either hands free where u just talk or a push to
talk kind of thing so then you dont have to type all the time

Thats coming on 4.1, either that or all the strong rumors were false
But we don't want to make a copy of There

One has to wonder why we're all on 3.6 (567) if there's already a 4.1? I can
see alpha or beta testing it but that's alot of versions off from what we
currently have isn't it??? Shouldn't we be on 4.0 if 4.1 is in alpha/beta?
What's in 3.7, 3.8, 3.9 and 4.0 ... not to mention all the subbuilds of
those like 568, 569, 570 ... heck we'll never see 4.1 at this rate LOL

Regarding software version numbering, I believe the convention is to
increment the number left of the decimal point when enhancements are made
and the number right of the decimal point when bugs are fixed.
If that's true with AW then we could easily skip from 3.6 to 4.1, or,
conversely, even have a v3.10, v3.11, etc.

actually, i think with AW, the number on the left (i.e:3) used to symbolise
the renderware version? not too sure though.

I wouldn't mind if they had a non-attached program to AW yet it stilled
utilized AW as is. Like if they allowed hosts to host them, and it
connects to the AW Uni database, and checks if they're a real citizen,
get on, and whatever. Would be nice.

YEAH!!
Add a function to the SDK where it can log a bot in as an actual citizen
(i.e. name/pass) and be able to access cit-specific stuff (grams, cit
settings etc). Then let all the genius programmers take it from there.

but thats how you end up with object path passwords easily being stolen, as
well as bots spamming people in places were bots aren't allowed, and some
other things.

Uhh, I thought Active Worlds was AWI's flagship universe.
So why is AW running an inferior version? o_O

They are constantly working on newer versions, 90% of stuff from corprate
builds will find its way into AW, however - when AW 4x comes it will be a
big improvement.
