LOL..

Well at the moment it seems like this thread will continue!... At least
people have enough sense to censor their words, many think that they
wouldn't do the same with Custom Avatars.. Go figure ;-)

Why? Why? WHy banning people? Just make sure they can't do anything you
don't want in your world. People who don't like your rules should go away

As a world owner, I tend to agree with Deans point of view. When I go world
hopping, I enjoy being
able to check out the owners selection of avatars and a lot of worlds have
designed their avas to go
with the theme of their world.

I can't imagine a bikini clad "babe" or a guy with a maple leaf covering his
private parts running
around in Outland. Just wouldnt .... fit the theme :))

If citizens select to use their own custom avas, and decide to not go into a
world, or leave a world
simply because the owner has turned off an option for custom avas, well, then
they could be missing
a great experience in a world that could be quite exciting with much to offer
:))

I would prefer to see an option for the owner to turn on or off custom avas :))

Then maybe we should all do as I have done and email Roland expressing our
dissatisfaction with such a decision. Maybe if he gets enough emails about the
subject, he might be preesured to change his mind. Or, Cryonics or whoever
might relent.
Who knows? It is worth a try.

All that may do is hold up Custom Avatars from happening, wait till we get them then
push for changes...Pushing first will just end up shelving the project, think it has
been a year so far, push and try for changes before the event and kiss Custom AVs
goodbye till 2001.

I totally agree with Klassi here, cust avs will get put off if there are a
lot of problems with it. Once it is in, there is often a high chance of
getting custom modifications implemented.
