Your right about that..
But why am I immature?
Have I been unreasonable or childish?
Well sorry then....
It was not my intention, that's for sure.

I don't want EITHER newsgroup bothered with long, f***ing idiotic and stupid
threads... awcommunity is for AW-related matters (if only loosely), not
flames. *puts on ignore thread*

Funny...
Why do people learn so slow...
What we heave been discussing too was reasonable argumentation.
My question was: Why am I immature?
So again: Why have I been immature? Because I make my point?
Please give an answer to that. Calling people childish is tooo easy.

Besides; me and Fluxen were the ones who moved the discussion to
awcommunity. Or is it also *there* forbidden to discuss thorouhly?

P.S.
Would you mind showing some cooperation moving this thread to awcommunity?
Thnxx. I posted this one to both. Plz reply to awcommunity only if you don't
want the wishlist to be bothered with long thorough discussion threads.

well it's obvious I turned off ignore thread long enough to read this
post... I don't see how anyone could want flames though, which is all this
thread is pretty much. I assume you're just playing around grover... if not,
could you please tell me via e-mail how I'm being childish? personally I see
wanting to stop the flames as being mature, not childish.

Dthknight,

You want to know why grover finds you childish.....
You may not have noticed it, but I have asked you that same question 2 times
already.
Plz let me know via e-mail what you think childish about my 'contributions'
to this thread.

Is there now a point to these messages?... Are they about AW?....Will they in
any way enhance AW?.. Are the messages informative?...

There is constructive criticism and destructive criticism in my humble opinion
this news thread has now entered the latter stage and has nothing to do with
Custom Avatars.

This thread should now be called, "The Psychology of the individuals behind the
Avatars in a Virtual Environment".

Real computer scientists despise the idea of actual hardware. Hardware has

poor at I/O.

Hmmm... yes, the thread could be renamed. Otherwise I don't see any problem. It's
up to everyone to follow it and participate or not. Maybe it's not informative, or
constructive in the sense of some new tips and tricks or ideas for them.
Nevertheless as you say there are individuals behind avatars. This is a ng about
the community of users, not the community of avatars. Now it's clear with
individuals we may expect and must accept it's not always as rational as we would
like.
But when today the avatars are "down", I'm glad to see the individuals aren't. A
revenge on the logics, the constructive, the "enhance" without taking the time to
look around, to talk without always wondering if what we say is "correct" and
appropriate. Crazy, useless, superficial is what we have to enjoy when the power is
off.

Mmm.. Interesting indeed.
Psychology.
As Charles Darwin said: Nobody does anything 'just as a favour'
So there's gotta be a thought behind everything like 'I'll get something in
return'. Or 'This is a profitable deed for me.'
If we look at it like that, we probably flame each other just to *get*
flamed. ;-)
Or we think it's profitable (get nice reactions). So we flame each
other to raise our reputation. :-S

Interesting idea, but I think you have a flaw in your premise....is flaming
someone, really *a favour*? :)
Please note...this is neither a flame nor a favour. Just more of my senseless
prattling for which I expect nothing in return. :)

Dean, first off I think you need to just calm down a little, c'mon man,
breathe...IN and out...yes that's it .. relax ... your freedoms aren't being
compromised yet, so just chill on the revolution.

Ok next, I think custom avs should be aloud in any world, why? Like I said,
your avs working in some worlds but not others would pretty much render the
feature pointless.

If you want to keep your worlds in theme, I suggest a sign telling users to
please use the avatars selected. OR bring in only avatars having to do with
that theme. If you think about it this could lead to a fuller, richer
environment for the users. Wouldn't your world be popular if it was made
like old west - all the users with cowboy/cowgirl fetishes would want to
hang out there in their avs wouldn't they?

Also, the eject command still works...if you do happen to see a random
offence to your ocular organs you can just zip em outta there. And that
idea from grover about banning their URL's...genius!

World setting to toggle cust avs could be added too, but I think, like I
said before, this would probably lead to a lot less traffic for those worlds
restricting user personalization.

Ok l8tes

I just connect and enjoy AW, and other online services. I need a challenge, which at
this moment is becoming a 'good' builder in AW.. I need to enjoy myself, this I get
from interacting with people from all over the planet..

Differences of opinion are just that, everyone has his/her own opinion which I respect,
whether I agree or disagree with them isn't the point, whether I think they are right
or wrong doesn't matter. I am not in a position to judge others or compete with them in
anyway, I only compete with myself.

arrogance to speak for all mankind?.
