Preston and Xelagot (Bots)
Preston and Xelagot // Botslady melissaJun 27, 2003, 1:51pm
I am having trouble connecting bots through my router/firewall. Anybody know
what ports need to be mapped to connect? Thanks, Lady Melissa dlp anneJun 28, 2003, 11:36am
According to my firewall the Xelagot uses ports.
Incoming UDP/IP on port 53 Outbound UDP/IP on port 53 Outbound TCP/IP on port 962 Outbound TCP/IP on port 5674 Outbound TCP/IP on port 7028 Outbound TCP/IP on port 7777 According to my firewall the Preston uses ports. OK, I added these ports and I get the following messages from my bots:

I tried putting a bot in AW and it works fine. Now I'm really confused! :o) (Really learning to hate my router ;-) Thanks for all your help! [View Quote] ima geniusJul 7, 2003, 6:43pm
The "Unable to connect to host: Error 10022" is most likely Preston failing
to open port 8315. The 11004 error seems to be from some sort of DNS problem. Can you resolve auth.activeworlds.com ? Also, is your world running on one of your computers? - Ima [View Quote] lady melissaJul 17, 2003, 10:57am
I have two PCs sharing a cable connection on a 2-port router. I am running
the world server and the browser on my PC. Should I try running the world server from the other PC? [View Quote] |
