I thought the picture was harmless. Honestly, I dont think someone
young (grandchildren) would even understand it. There was no need to
fly off the handle at Perra about this, you could have simply added them
to your ignore list and left it at that.

I definitly agree... Lighten up.

If your kids go to public school, or even watch any ammount of TV,
they're bound to be exposed to stuff much worse than santa taking a dump
down a chimney...

Just because it's not "g-rated" and bland doesn't mean it's God aweful
and kids shouldn't see it.

Kids have to grow up eventually too, so there's gotta be some point
where you decide its OK to expose them to that sorta stuff. Might as
well be now rather than later. You're not doing any kid a favor by
sheltering them.

My opionion... take it or leave it...

It's humor. If you think this is so horrible, why not ban nude sculptures
from museums and their photos from textbooks? they reveal a hell of a lot
more, and I'm pretty sure you'll find photos of those works of art in nearly
any public school textbook. But you're worried about a christmas card?

not? I'm sure if their parents cared about them potentially clicking links
like that they'd be supervising them a heck of a lot more anyways, being as
the entire purpose of AW is to talk to complete strangers, which any
paranoid parent I'm sure would not want their child doing alone.

Bit, IMHO that cartoon falls under the lewd category. You think I'm going
to agree with YOU about something that I feel is obscene just to have you as
friends and "enjoy people"? I dont' enjoy that type of humor nor the people
that think those types of things are acceptable. Especially those that get
the attention of children by announcing "to all children". Some of us
would like to know that there's a moderated protected area that is G Rated
in Active Worlds where our children can go. As it is I don't want my 22 and
24 year old children coming to AW because of people like you who ruin the
experience. Let alone my grandhildren.
