Approximately July 23, 2002, I sent a telegram to Lara in regards to a
create sign object I noticed was missing/not included in the area of her
yard where all create sign objects had been placed. (missing object is
sign10.rwx and should be included at 23629.60N 23445.40W 0.20a 270 aw).
Usually, Lara answers telegrams within a few days or sooner. However, about
5 days ago, when I had not received a response, I went searching to see when
the last object had been placed in Lara's NW Builder's Supply. Looks like
the last object was around the end of July, although, when I tried to find
that object a few minutes ago, I couldn't. I concluded maybe Lara went on
vacation, but while I was at a meeting today, I learned Lara may have gone
to another 3d world. It was very upsetting for me to find this out. I hope
it isn't true, so I'm asking people in the newsgroup here if they know what
happened to Lara.

From what I know, Lara has been exploring other 3d programs... I know she is
a registered citizen in Cyboria. I spoke to her a while back, when she said
that she was indeed exploring new places, but that she would not be leaving
AW... Hopefully, that is true.

Lara has been gone for a while. She told me that she would pop in now and
then again, but not as much as normal...I think she has found Cyboria to be
more interesting. I doubt she will be coming back for good, but she will
probably pop in every once in a while. You can always email her at
Lara at tnlc.com but I tried and she hasnt responded yet. Not sure what's wrong

She has been at the gate several times as a tourist to visit since July. Her
cit expired and she cannot afford to renew ;-"<

She told me her cit was well good through 2003 since she had banked up some
months with AWSchool. I think she is still able to use it.

She comes in as tourist because she isnt a regular visitor any more and
dosent want to be "caught" for teaching or similar. She is still upgrading
her yard occaisionaly but on the whole she is taking a hiatus from AW and
exploring other universe options. Events in the real world are keeping her
occupied as well.

I miss her and i think so does everyone who knew her, and that was most of
AW :o))

For citz like lara that have done so much, I think they should be rewarded with something like a free cit for a while or something
to show AWC's apreciaation for people like her actually keeping AW afloat
