Maybe some one can look at this error and see if it's a browser problem or
registry problem or something but it happens alot and I'm forced to hit ok which closes the browser. And if it's not a browser problem how can I fix it? AWORLD caused an invalid page fault in module AWORLD.EXE at 017f:00422e3f. What are you doing that causes it?Chances are that it IS a browser problem, possibly faulty objects and maybe hardware issues.
Tyrell's solution works most of the time though. [View Quote] eepAug 22, 2001, 3:19pm
What part of "forced to hit ok which closes the browser" didn't you understand, Tyrell? Read, sport.
[View Quote] > Altho' I'v no idea what the problem is... you can do what I do if/when I get an error like that... Just ignore it... If you shove it out-a the way (into the left or right side of your screen so only a 1/4 inch or so is showing) you can continue in Alpha for as long as you wish... I'v continued to build for over an hr once after getting an error message... > > Won't fix your problem but may make them easier to live with while you'r trying to track down the reason for them... :-) > [View Quote] eepAug 22, 2001, 3:20pm
Actually most crashes do NOT return the focus to the app; RARELY does the app still work after a crash.

Eep is right. I've had roughly over 200 (Probably more -_-) illegal
operations since I started using my citizenship and only about 3 times it did this. -- - Syntax - www.swcity.net [View Quote] sw chrisAug 22, 2001, 5:16pm
Really? How odd, whenever any program crashes for me, I can usually just
manually return the focus to the program and keep on working. My computer must be a super PC! :D SW Chris [View Quote] the derekAug 22, 2001, 5:39pm

heh, I got some illegal operations, blablabla messages in AW a while back
but the browser didn't close when you clicked Close and it just continued as normal, LMAO! oh, and I'm having these wierd errors that occur during building, when I have an object selected, suddenly I get a total crash and everything freezes, the hard switch doesn't work so I have to pull out the power... yes, those errors you only find on the Windows platform...
