It still is the lone super power... it has been since the end of the cold war. You
can't refer to a continent as a super power so "Europe" would be irrelevant. --Bowen-- Space Ship ColumbiaFeb 4, 2003, 10:22pm

Go ahead and think that. I may have 200 cap guns but they do didly squat to 2 BB
guns. European Union is a union of countries, you can't have countries make a country. --Bowen-- Space Ship ColumbiaFeb 5, 2003, 11:18am

I hope you don't have platoons of 1 troop. This is the same excuse people use to claim China is a super power. Just because you have mass numbers does not mean they are trained to fight. I'm sure one US soldier with a rifle and a lot of ammo could mow down a couple hundred thousand Chinese before they ever reached him. (China doesn't have enough weapons for every soldier as far as I'm aware) > I would not even want to know who would kicks whom ass in a fight, because > it would not matter. Both sides has enough weapons to take out all life on > earth. In the next WW there will be no winner. The cockroaches. There are some humans that will have the right genes to survive nuclear fallout/nuclear winter. --Bowen-- Space Ship ColumbiaFeb 5, 2003, 11:23am
> History shows that all imperiums fall at some point.
> So you Bowen seriuosly mean, since USA is big and powerfull, it gives it > right to bomb a country if it feels like it ? > So we should just stand quiet and watch while you "fix" things? > Iraque is a quite powerfull country in middle-east also, so we should shut > up and just watch if they decide to occupy Kuwait ( for example)? > I guess it is very hard for a person to realize that ones "own" country > could actually be wrong. If you Bowen was an iraque schoolboy and would read > someone saying " Since when does the US have to answer to anyone for going > to war? Last I checked it's our nation and we are the strongest one." , > this is combination that the person saying it would be in the country, which > is lining up their warmachine at your border. Would you think: yes of course > they have the right to come and nuke us, because they are the strongerst > one, or would you maybe want the UN to find a peacefull way out ? Please. I'll say this again, if you don't take risks, something worse could happen. The UN doesn't do squat, they found empty shells that weren't declared in the weapons report. Why would you not put empty shells on the weapon report? Well obviously you could load warheads into there. It makes you wonder what he _did_ lie about. Gee could maybe he have some other empty shells that, just happenstancely, a nuclear warhead fell into it; or maybe a botulism toxin warhead? --Bowen-- Space Ship ColumbiaFeb 5, 2003, 5:57pm

Gee, no crap. Iraq lied? Who would've thought that... Like I said, they lied about
empty shells... why not lie about real weapons? --Bowen-- Space Ship ColumbiaFeb 6, 2003, 4:46pm

No. Anyone with half a brain would know how to inventory correctly. If the UN
weapons inspectors can find them, they're not hidden too hard not to notice. The point is the LIED about EMPTY warheads. That strikes me as puzzling as why would you lie about a weapon that can't do anything but make a pile of dust? Now, if they would lie about _EMPTY_ ones, why oh why couldn't they lie about warheads that are completely armed and ready to be used? --Bowen-- What is worth fighting for?Feb 6, 2003, 7:41pm

But you can make no law in favor of religions. If one does, you would be violating
that freedom; you would see these customs and regulations in schools as such as trying to violate your freedom to believe your god is the only god, etc etc. There should be a line drawn over frivilous lawsuits though. Prayers in school should not be allowed for a school wide event, but if a student wishes to go into a room alone and pray, that should be ok. --Bowen-- What is worth fighting for?Feb 7, 2003, 2:47pm

Maybe in Europe. Not in America. You can walk naked, be naked, do anything but have
sex naked in public. Sure, some of the smaller towns have laws against it. > some parts of it. In court of law you are swearing to tell the truth with hand on > bible ( even if you are not christian ?.) and so on... You're certainly allowed to have several wifes or husbands... that's a personel thing as well. Adultery is a reason for divorce here though. We don't have to put our hand on the bible. Maybe Europe is more religious than America; the irony. --Bowen-- What is worth fighting for?Feb 7, 2003, 7:48pm
> anything but have
> it. > > I seriously doubt that you are correct now, maybe you could test it for me? Someone would cry out that it's foul, but there are certainly no laws against it. There _are_ nude beaches in some parts of the US. As long as you are not using nudity for your own personal gain, aka prostitution, it's allowed as far as I'm aware. I'm sure people in NYC could care less... excluding those... weirdo christian fundamentalists that just happen to be some old woman most of the time. Coincedence? I think not. > belive > have > personel thing > put our > > You mean bigamy (spellcheck) is not a crime in USA ? I thought they held a > bible infront you in courtroom, and the senetence ended something like "..so > help me God". Maybe that is only on TV then. Pretty sure it's not a crime, although the IRS doesn't like it too much, I'd suppose. If your wives/husbands don't bring you to court there's no case. One could just say "ok, I'll marry one and the other ones aren't my wives(husbands); just roomates" and it's perfectly legal if bigamy isn't allowed in the area. They used to hold the bible... now it's just hold your right hand up and agree to "swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth." Some still use the older rendition which adds "so help you god" at the end. Then again, some courts still use the bible too. --Bowen-- What is worth fighting for?Feb 8, 2003, 2:27pm

Most stores only require a shirt and shoes. There's a sticker on a lot of stores
that says that. Nothing says you can't go pantless on those stickers. > I have no plans of having several wives, I do not even seem to get one LOL. > I must say it was new to me that one actually can have several wives if one > wish to. In Finland you are not allowed to marry unless you get a license to > do so, and you will not get one if you already are married. I wonder how the > inheritage is taken care of if someone had several wives. Mmm, well here in the states that's handled on a per state basis. So if you get married in Colorado you could go to New Mexico and get married again since they don't have your name on file. > I also wonder how come feminists do not bitch about tha wrongness that > mormon men can have several wives but mormon women not several husbands; it > is obviusly not equal for both sexes; then again feminists are not pro > equality between sexes, but pro superiority of women. Funny is they dress > and look like men in their suits, wanting to be lawyers and bankers..they > behave and do things themseleves , the same as the hate men of. This > reminded me I need to start a new thred directed to feminists LOL. I hate feminists too. ;) > But basically our law is based on the 10 commands ( which are mostly ok of > course), but it is all the "decensy" and " moral" laws that piss me off. > Laws that are not based on logic, but belives (often started some 1000-2000 > years ago). > One of these are the swimmimng suite law for example. Nope, there's a parasitic fish that detects amonia an urea (which are emitted by the
gills of a fish in the Amazon)... guess what part of your body gives off amonia and urea. You definately don't want those going up your winky dink and taking residence. --Bowen-- A!!CT is deleted and I am gone :PFeb 9, 2003, 8:49pm

Give me a break. I don't need a freaking store from you. When someone says things
such as: "you people have akingdom and blupearl you don't need me nor do I need you! later much!" One feels that they've been childish. You've yet to prove me wrong besides to send your little spammer boy out on a rampage to piss on people then say "you don't know me" like any dipshit 12 year old would say if he were brought on Maury Povich and said "you're out of control." What you also don't realize is not everyone can bend to your whim. You trusted someone you probably shouldn't have trusted and now you have to pay the price. You have to be very careful whom you select as friends, it seems you are not doing this (NCC for example). If you want us to care, don't have the people representing you to call us idiots, assholes, yadda yadda yadda. --Bowen-- A!!CT is deleted and I am gone :PFeb 9, 2003, 11:11pm

Which Greek god?
If NCC was his spokesperson I don't think that community revolved too much around him. I mean, even if you tell NCC he's wrong on something insignificant he'll call you a "hater" and that you're disrespecting him. :O --Bowen-- A!!CT is deleted and I am gone :PFeb 10, 2003, 4:20pm
Poseidon? Are you talking about AWTeen because I'd assume AWTeen is more held
