Tourist building was turned off sometime ago. It was open a few days this
year for people to build at Daphne's Memorial Site.

Hello gang, recently Dreamer2, Redoubt and I opened a new project in AW (the
main world) that is a little different from the usual. It evolves around a
futuristic planet called Off World. The build encompasses as large area with
builds that use the more muted textures and various movement commands. Those
who have seen the area seem to like the new concept as it shows strong
variation of what can be done with standard AW objects. We hope everyone
will get a chance to drop by. There is a guestbook at the welcome center and
one can send post cards from the build at the Post Office. Teleport kiosks
are provided through out the site. The coordinates are aw 31554.07N
31554.02E 0.80a 360 Several movies are provided at the builds to add to

Thanks for all those who have toured Off World in aw.. It has grown to 200
builds and hope everyone will keep coming around. There is another place I
recommend as well - Ferruccio has been working on a golf course about a year
and there are some fine builds located at the golf course as well as the
course itself. The coordinates are 1644.67S 3840.57E 0.35a 332 in AW

Here is the set of masks for the new trees in aw . I did not see these added
to anyone's website or build

I know of a couple worlds and the Halloween site in AW -- The worlds are
ShalTown by Shalimar and friends and Seacrets by Ciena. We have continued
the 2003 and 2004 builds in active worlds by adding 2005 so alot of builds
to see. The coordinates are 8719.02S 307.10E 0.29a 180. There are several
great additions in 2005 including Ghost Train II by Dreme Lojyk, an animated
witch from Dusti, the eye from Lord of the Rings by Hereitik, and much much
more.

Hello everyone, Off World in the main world AW is having its first
anniversary. It is a build using the standard aw objects in ways not used
before in many cases. The area represents a world racked with radiation from
a red dwarf and thus everything was destroyed. A group of explorers were
assigned to rebuild the location and reclaim the world. The area is quite
large and takes one sometime to explore. Just a sample of what is there, a
museum second to none of items from futuristic ships and robots. Many are
from movies you will recognize. A space navy with all the trimmings created
by Lensman, a satellite probe center designed by Pharadon, Semi Toxic
Industries a recycling area created by Redoubt, Life experimental station
created by dreamer2, a robot hospital created by dusti, Blade Runner
structures by Dark Owl, Freight systems, power stations, mining, drilling
and refineries created by tunablues and much more. It took the group 12
months to get the area to the point where everyone will find something new.
Redoubt made a movie for fast download that shows a few of the items one
would see when exploring. The link is .

The band is in "The Supper Club" at the moment. The coordinates to the area
are aw 31455.93N 31570.56E 0.25a 89 Directly behind you is some of the
backdrop for the movie and as you travel around you will see the other
areas. Directly south of where you land is one of the many teleport centers
that have picture links to 124 spots in the community and the web site has

Chrystal,

Open PSP go to import and choose screen capture - then choose setup --
choose window as area and set a hot key -- f10 I believe is default - once
done hit shift C and click in window you want to capture and click f10 key.
Now go back to PSP and the capture should be there. Hope this helps

We would like to thank all of you for your support of the Off World
Anniversary Party. It was a great success as we kept the party area open
around 20 hours straight. It was wonderful to see some of the veteran
members come in to aw to look at the builds and show their support. It was
also great to see tourist come to the party and join in.



Thank you to all the radio djs and their fine work. The group put in a lot
of time and effort.



I know a lot of people have enjoyed the music videos from the Texture 4 (Off
World Bot Band). The final 4 songs off the cd were released at the party and

90. A few lots are left and need be we can add more of course.

I do not post here often but the word vendetta caught my eye and will
respond.



What is sad is no Cy Organizer has posted in this thread until now. The only
reason it is happening at this point is the charges by Lady Tigrane have
become weary. During the last days before the Cy Awards she entered the
world each day and was treated with dignity and grace as she was the night
of the awards. She was specifically invited to join the celebration after
the ceremony even after she made accusations that have no basis in truth.
Callowness is a shallow factor until it is used in public on a numerous
occasions pushing to make it truth. On no occasion was her "friend" banned
in cyawards and no case was sent forth for any other actions which none of
us have nor want the authority to do. It is best at this point that her
research find the truth and the word vendetta should be stricken from the
speech. Knowledge and true facts are power not maladroitness in the virtual
life of AW.

As for the award - anytime an event can further the experience in active
worlds, it would be a nice addition. This year saw the first vitual
concerts, a new awards event, the SW City events, Off World event, AWEC
events, America events and many more. We should support them all. This
raises the quality of the community.
