Community? You mean this slobbering mess with several groups attempting in vain
to clean it up? the only way I can see to restore the community is wait for the
next generation to take over. Anyway, thats my eep-like statement of the day.
thank you all for putting up with it.

Cheers,

Curiosity...

Jun 6, 2000, 10:20pm
However, blowing things up and killing people on teams such as citizens and tourists (with the cits being fewer in number and having entrenched themselves for battle and established permanent bases, as well as having larger weaponry) would be quite fun. And quite possible with a world and some creativity. Use existing paintball "technology", combine it
with a bazillion artillery shell bots, and put together a world with limited building and crap, and make avatars that can be "flown" and drop bombs (simply paintball again), and if anyone gets caught flying without an aircraft, they get ejected (and i dont mean paintball ejected either).

Ok, enough of that,

Integrating a password into the aw path would be 1) Impossible concidering
that awci just added a couple hundred obs, and they only mess with it once
in a blue moon. 2) Would not stop the spread because its already
passwordless on HUNDREDS of other object paths. (Except the ones i admin,

Microsoft isnt exactly a user level company. AWCI has one product, and one major cash source. US. Microsoft however, has a
massive product line encompassing everything from the Internet to operating systems to word processors. Even if we stopped
buying their stuff theyd have enough cash to continue operating for at least a year.
And stopping buying microsoft products sounds fun.

I was just socializing at GZ (what else does one do in the middle of

someone mentioned that they know of at least 3 PKs that actively

[View Quote] [View Quote] I, as you may well know am 13. I can easily walk into a cideo store and rent R rated movies. They dont ask for ID or anything. Noe I've purchased Duke Nukem Zero Hour for the N64, which is rated M. "Animated violence" You see that crap on cartoons. And theres no human targets unless you cant point your Claw-12 in the right direction on the first few levels (or are ammo starved). Of course, as with all duke games, you've got teh women held hostage by the aliens. They may be naked, BUT YOU CANT SEE NOTHIN. A seventeen year old purchasing this game would either be mentally
retarded or reviewing the game for his job. This past Saturday, I went out and purchased the game "The Sims". Rated T (Teen) by those morons at ESRB. "Comic mischief" WTF is that supposed to mean???? "Mature sexual themes" OK, so they kiss, SO WHAT. If theyre gonna be that nitpicky, why not mention that theres censored nudity in this game? "Mild animated violence" Uhhh, no. Heard it mentioned in the manual but it's nearly impossible for your game to deteriorate that far. If ratings were to be strictly enforced by stores, that would mean proof of age for every game (except
E ratings for games, G ratings for movies), and either we'd hafta carry our friggin birth certificate around, or picture ID would hafta be issued to every kid when they reach the age of 12 or 13. Not very realistic for you Eep.The common theme here is rating enforcement. Game/world ratings are there for a purpose; it's like all the US gun laws that aren't enforced.

Game/world/movie ratings are there as guidelines, not as strict rules/laws.
Different parents have different ideas of what should be seen by their children at different ages in order to expose them to the world. LET US SEE IT ALL AT A YOUNG AGE BEFORE WE FIND OUT FOR OURSELVES!!!!!! We don't need our generation ruined by your stupidity. Enough of that.
