Well, I guess you just answered your own question. It symbolizes a bad word
when used in the context that means a bad word. It doesn't have a physical
affect but to some people it has an upsetting affect, which is precisely why
some people find it objectionable. It's a great word for boat rockers, and
that is precisely who uses it. (except for the ones who use it when they
stub their toes in the middle of the night in the privacy of their own
homes).
If you were a postman and needed to deliver a package, would you not pay
attention to the "Beware of Vicious, Man-Eating Dog" sign because it's only
a symbol and can't hurt you? As for what it means in German, I don't speak
German so I guess I'd think it meant just what an English speaking user of
it was saying. Now though, if I hear a German using that word in a
threatening way, I'll duck. Thanks for the tip :-)

Milk is now slang for anal sex, you can now not use anything made of, or
consisting of milk.

It's ok, my Eiscreme is being made with milch from now on...I've decided to
take up German after all. How does that strike you?

The narrator said "shit" in our Biology video. It was about pollution.
I dunno why, but they said "Human and animal shit is left to pile up at
the side of the road." I mean, in a Biology video, I would expect them
to call it feces, but there you go.
But yea, it is a "bad word". I don't say it. If someone said it on kids
TV or the 6 o'clock news here there would be an uproar. Especially if
it was on the BBC. But the BBC wouldn't do anything like that to us ^_^

We removed that ejection the second that it happened kellee....AWI isnt
going to change the bots and frankly, "Shit" should be at least warranted a
warning to who says it. There were a few others in the world too b/c I had
my bot on to remove your ejection when it happened lol ;)

Lioness honey,
In both of your posts you said EXACTLY what I was thinking! Thank You.
As a GK, and a parent, I can and do understand why there is a rating limit
like there is.
As a Cit, I belive if you have time to complaine about and whine in the news
groups about the rating and why you can and can't say such and such, then
you need to explore more, and btw get a life (not directed at you Lioness,
just those who well ya know me, and what i'm saying).
If you are so ingornat to ask why and think it's ok to speak extremly fouly
in front of kids, you are either a child yourself, or a super dense adult
who needs to grow up. Also, AW is NOT a democracy, may come from that kind
of country, but it really isn't, unless you own the company, what gives you
the right to say "Change this now it's stupid?" Can't you inturn just say,
hey it's not my choice to make so let it be?
I don't mean to sound rude or offend anyone, but if I did offend anyone then
those offeneded may need to think about why they are, and how mature there
being.
Thanks
Trishia o
