Macintosh & AW? (General Discussion)
Macintosh & AW? // General Discussionlady nighthawkOct 1, 2003, 3:49pm
I have a couple of friends who own macs, they are interested in checking out
aw but we know there is no mac client for that. We also know of the peacekeeper machelp page (which according to them is somewhat outdated for Jan 2002). My question is, are there ANY mac users in these ngs that are using aw? Or are mac people in aw just a myth? I would appreciate hearing from ya if you are out there! Thanks... I don't claim to be a mac person at all. I think I used a mac all of like 3
times in my entire life. But, don't they make emulators for running windows apps? -Jeremy [View Quote] bowenOct 1, 2003, 6:52pm

Yup, they have one or two. Now that Mac's use a Unix-esque kernel I
believe you might be able to get WINE to work on it. -- --Bowen-- http://bowen.homelinux.com/sys/ Yeah, it's that good. (Maybe an AW section in the near future?) .duo.24daysleftOct 1, 2003, 9:44pm

Not too slow, was able to use AW a while back just fine on OS 9... It was
also an ibook (366MHz G3 chip) with 64MB of ram... so... hah. -Joe [View Quote] .duo.Oct 2, 2003, 9:50am
Most Mac users tell me its slow... I don't know whether or not from
experience. -- -.Duo. (342836) [View Quote] |
