Hi, I recently got another citizen from a friend. July 30th and it says its
disabled now!!! After only a couple of days! This also happened to 2 of my
friend's world.. They already expired after just a few days! Everything is
getting disabled shortly after you buy it! WTF is going on here!? I you read
this AW I want my account back or I am never gonna buy another one if its
gonna expire! I also recieved this "Telegram from Castilion, sent just now:
Odd... they did the same to 2 other peoples accounts, and 1 of mine, plus 2
of my worlds, 1 of my friends, and 3 of some dude I dont even know" WHY IS
EVERYTHING YOU BUY FROM AW EXPIRING!?! Some people think it is that "Code
Red Worm", but I don't.. I just hope they get this taken care of soon!!!

Uhh.. have you tried contacting AW support?.. Any reason given? Did you email
them? If so what was their reponse?

hehe, guess so... I've seen that some cits are named creditfraud and have a
4 digit number after them... are those actual frauds that have been
discovered or something? and have there REALLY been THAT many frauds?????

Do not know anything of that,but I bought a world with a good credit card
and my world expired a few weeks after it was bought.AW just decided to
"steal" my world name and refund what I had payed for the world.They did
never take in consideration that there was more involved to it than just the
world (upgarding to bigger server,buying a domain,getting custom objects).I
will take this matter to BBB and if needed I will have a lawyer looking into
this thing.

I dont think you understand how those accounts were paid for in the first
place.

and I don't think you understood what he meant... he said that HE had paid
for HIS world LEGALLY, and that YOU made it expire and REFUNDED him, and if
I get it right, used the NAME for something else. That really is bad
customer treatement!

no oidea aobut anything else, I suggest he contact tom at activeworlds.com to
sort out his situation, and I am sure Tom will only be more than happy to

Hi,
I got an email back from AW saying it was CC Fraud.. My friend had ordered
all of it on his dad's CC though... Anyways he is trying to get it back.
Well anyways something got messed up somewhere. Oh well.

It wasn't off topic, at least I don't think. I think the post had to do with
a thread that ws in here before about all of this and someone complaining
against AW for taking away citizenships. I for one am glad the truth of the
matter came out since Facter rightlfully didn't expalin it before.
