News Reader Software? (General Discussion)
News Reader Software? // General DiscussioncomputerizerJul 20, 2001, 8:58pm
Does anyone know of any news reader software that's better than Xnews? And
don't say Netscape, Outlook, or Mozilla. Hehehe. I was looking once and I just grabbed Xnews quick, but it isn't performing very well. If nobody knows of a nice one, I might have to make one myself... -Computerizer ananasJul 20, 2001, 9:17pm
I used fagent (forte) on 3.0 and it was very good that time,
maybe they still have something compareable [View Quote] -- "_ | /\ \ / __/ /_ dabartenderJul 21, 2001, 2:53am
They sure do...you can still get Free Agent (16- or 32-bit) for...well, free
<G> ...and the full Forte Agent 1.8 is still only US$29. Great software - I'm not even sure why I don't use it anymore. I may have to recify that situation :) [View Quote] tony mJul 21, 2001, 6:59am
I have a copy of FreeAgent somewhere.. either on my PC or my mom's. If
you want it, I'll zip it and email it to you =P [unless someone has a URL?] [View Quote] ananasJul 21, 2001, 7:09am
