What is the deal?

You might need to clear your cache just to make sure that it isn't loading
for you either. I have three people here right now standing where a CY
statue should be, and all there is is a black triangle in its place.

The statues have been gone for months, I noticed that a longggg time
ago. It happened awhile back when they changed the object password for
aw but didn't rezip the statues with the new password, the object errors
show that it's not loading because it doesn't have the right password.

Yeah I noticed that. Why did they make a password for the OP? It was once
public, and I used it in all of my worlds.

Oh, you can still use it, nearly all the objects in aw have no password,
you just wouldn't be able to use the cy statue object or any other
object that has a password...everything else you can use.

Right, so everyone can't use the CY object and say "Look, I won a CY
award" when they never actually did.

If I can figure out a way to put the cy awards page url permanently on a new
statue, I will so if a person puts one up and someone is looking at it they
can go to the web page and verify it's authenticity.
Any ideas?

Could prolly just simply have a list of given CYs and their location.
People who won CYs should have a url to that page on their statue when you
click it...and you could asign targets to each entry on the list, so for
example when you click the statue for best website 2004 the url would be
like http://www.awcommunity.org/cyawards/verify.htm#website2004; that way
it would take you right to that part of the list.

A bot in global mode that got the builder's name and added a url something
like:

activate url www.awcommunity.org/cyawards/verify.php?name=George

And the script would basically go through the awards database and find their
name and display what they have won, otherwise display that they did not win
anything.

The only other way to do it, is with a php script displaying an image. That
way, if the person won, the script would display an image for their award,
otherwise, it would display an image that says something like "(name) has
won no awards" if they were not found in the database.

Then you could have the action as:

create picture www.awcommunity.org/cyawards/award.php?name=George

Just some suggestions for something that could be done in the future :)

it's stand that said "click here for authentication"
But then a modeller would know how to change that....hmmmmm
