I propose you close down every world you own, including A!!CT, let your
website expire, then leave AW :)

And to re-state my ideas:
I personally think an RPG or a game world with one would be awesome. I would
love it if I could help. You DEFINATELY should wipe the world and start
over, but be sure to keep a BACKUP of it so if you wanted to, you could
restore things like the GZ. I am up for helping in any way possible, and if
it becomes an RPG I definiately want to help. I have always wanted to build
an RPG, but I never have had the resources or proper organization,
resources, and planning to do so, and I'm sure that A!!CT would be a prime
world for an RPG.

Also, if you wiped A!!CT and then reorganised it, keeping it a public build
world, that would be great too. What happened last time is that build rights
were given before the world was organized in any way. This is what caused
A!!CT to become a mess. I honestly think that the GZ in A!!CT is nice, and
should be kept if possible, but I also think that a new, less cluttered,
smaller GZ would be good too. I would love to help organise this if its
what you do.

I do however, do not think proposal 1 is a good idea. We want to encourage
tourist building, not the opposite. I have a great idea for how you could
keep tourist builds in shape, and I assure you that it won't be ludicrously
hard to carry out. I also have an idea of how to make it more difficult to
delete tourist builds.

In fact, I will respond to other people's ideas.

I agree, we should try extra hard to keep A!!CT from being scorned by
anyone. Definately any of those plans (excluding 1) would require some form
of world wiping, thats a given.

"MrBruce, About 5 years ago, I used to frequent this world called GinEric.
After building several nice areas, I found the world crashed and my
buildings were lost. As a result I lost interest and now I have come back to
show my seven year old daughter a fun 3-D place. This is how I found A!!CT
as a new tourist. Here are my comments to the proposals: >PROPOSAL #3 We are
considering wiping A!!CT and rebuilding as a new role playing world and no
longer allowing open building. We can make this an adult role playing world
forbiding minors, or direct this towards the younger crowd in AW. I find
role playing worlds end up being too violent for my liking. Least
interesting to me. I am a Dad that will be playing AW with my kids.

A!!CT of all Tourist builds, which in all probability are already half
destroyed, altered or deleted and just taking up space. Not a bad idea

considering wiping A!!CT world all together and starting over again with a
whole new world, citzens will be left with the option of saving their builds
with a bot. This is probably the best proposal, but it still does not
address how to find new land to build upon. When visiting, I found it very
difficult to find building space. It may be useful to limit the amount of
building space to members to a certain amount of square meters, and the
amount of building space to visitors to a much smaller amount of space. I
also would like to suggest that there is a need for a bot that would find a
homestead for new visitors so that one can find land. Another way to fairly
distribute land is to wipe out builds of tourists that have aged. Land that
is being built upon needs to be close to other people. As the world grows,
the people continue with urban sprawl and build further and further away
from the GZ. So what happens is that people are no longer talking to each
other because they are further and further away from the rest of the people.
It's now easy to see that there are four things that are much needed. 1)
Need a theme that makes A!!CT a fun place to meet. How about a modern city
2) Need infrastructure that is provided by the world such as roads and a
good public transportation system that connects all parts of the world back
to GZ. I would suggest some sort of a rail or people mover line that lets
people see the country side while being transported to their new location.
3) Need plenty of meeting places where people can hold conversations. For
example, I found Kaitlyn's pool to be a big draw in one of the Gineric
worlds. See http://www.geocities.com/kaitlynr. A disco works well also. I am
playing with one at 129W 129N. But I have seen much better. The first thing
I would like to see is a list of public works projects and allow people to
participate in building them. I would expect many of these to be near GZ and
immediately connected by the transportation system. 4) I found it nice to
have someone show me how to build. It's a lot of fun teaching people how to
build in a new world.

A lot of nice points. I agree that a road system is 100% neccesary. Not only
to connect the world, but to organize it and prevent over claiming. You
could have an address for everything (example: NEBlock15) or even streets
and street addresses. I think a railroad system is not a good idea, because
it would not be able to reach every build in every part of the world. It
just won't work. Also with the addresses you could have a directory which
would list free land, and in fact possibly even claim the land inside and
require someone to ASK for the land, which would solve the problem of over
claiming.

I'm not sure about a theme though. A world theme would make building boring.
A GZ theme however would be a nice idea. Actually, if the road structure and
such had a theme it would be good. Chatting across the world can be solved
with 3.4. All you have to do is hide chat, and have what people say repeated
in a console message by a bot. This way, no matter where you are in the
world, you could chat. HOWEVER, this is a poor idea because it makes
whispers and private conversations in general impossible.

I still think that its best if ALL builds are wiped, and people who want to
keep their builds back it up with a bot, and put it in some other world
unless it is small enough.

best. It has endless possiblities with it. For one, it will attrack many
tourist because, simply, Mutation is getting boring, AD&DRPG is gone, and
AWRPG limits only to citizen members. You could make up a totally new RPG
too. One that could be placed in the future, not the same old slay a dragon,
save a princess, kill a troll stuff. Or you could have an economic/build a
life RPG. This would be a game where we could have people build social webs,

I agree, an RPG in the future is a good idea. The typical RPG set in
midieval times is not only already there many in many worlds, but it frankly
is boring and less open ended. Some kind of RPG where your NOT going around
killing and fighting, but actually doing something NEW is what I've always
wanted to do, especially if it is extremly open-ended.

proposal #2. I was activity and event planner once, but no one seemed
interested. I worked my ass of on that Halloween party last year, and the
Easter scavenger hunt got even less people in. I didn't get to finish the
Christmas world because it got turned into A!!CT2, before the scavenger hunt
started. I would love to still be an active participant in A!!CT. It's the
only reason I finally got a citizenship. If you decide to get rid of A!!CT
all together I guess that's what has to be done. Let me know if I can be of
any service to you in the near future.

I think that the events, no matter how good, only bring short appeal. What
we need is a public world with services and such which make it more
attractive than any other.

I think that either of these would be great, but a new public build world
would be great too.

forbiding minors. Yes make it a world for adult people which are taking
roleplaying serious. I would prefer a mediaval world. An old Kingdom with
King and Queen, fools, knights, ladyes, bards, and common people with
occupations- fishermen, woodcutters, pawns, merchant and carpenters etc. I
know that this is both funny and a big learningsituation. I have been a
leader of such a play in many years in RL. OldHand is the councelor for the
King there. In AW are the most interesting place just now AWRPG (Dreada). I
have been there a lot but have left because of the bad atmosphere in the
gameplay and the leadership.The socalled "Gods" are listening to everything
and punish by flaming and killing and sending moral sentences when one not
behave religios eneugh. And the security=0. I dont like to recieve
consolemessages of an offending charakter refering to private things not in
connection with the gameplay.And the gameplay in itself are stupid.
Polishing crystals, collecting points and bones and so on. Therefore not
such an atmosphere in a new RPG. But what made it very difficult to leave
Dreada was the beautyful graphic- the realistic miljeu- people can not fly
but must walk- the talk shall be in mediaval style and not "kewl to c u" and
such things. That is worth observing. The gameplay then in a new RPG ? In
fact it is gameplay eneugh just to build up a mediaval court with a Kingdom
around and then let the intrigues develop in an historical development in
the play. Is the miljeu realistic and are it only open for real roleplayers

I 100% disagree with everything here. I think that there are too many
midieval RPGs already. They are boring, tedious, and all the same.

I think that forbidding minors from A!!CT would go against everything A!!CT
is. First off, A!!CT has always been a world for EVERYONE, where EVERYONE
can do what they want (pretty much all of it too). Making it a world for
adults only would not only decrease the number of users, but it would
permanent stain A!!CT. Second off, personally I think that restricting
people based on age (which one cannot help, and means almost nothing) and
not what they know (which is the true indicator of things) is an awful
thing. Being a minor myself, I would feel wronged if my favorite world would
not let me in because of who I am.

I honestly disagree with you about AWRPG too. The gameplay is tedious, and
its midieval, but I would say that the poor terrain ruins the visual
appearance. I think it is an enjoyable RPG, but it needs improvement. I
think the restricted speech is bad.

The only RPG that would fit with my idea of A!!CT would be an almost
completely open-ended RPG which is completely original in almost every way.

I also disagree that minors don't take roleplaying seriously because they
are minors. If you really wanted serious players, you would make it so
players could only join if they were serious. Using age as a basis for the
seriousness of a player is not logical. People are individuals, and you
honestly can't say who they are because of their age.
