Very simple folks - we gots us a troll here.

I don't care how you slice it, dice it, justify it - it's a troll.

SunOfSolaris, in the last 300 posts to this news group, has generated by
himself 43% of the posting volume to this news group. I sucked a clean feed
of 300 posts, then kill filtered out his Email address. 300 posts dropped to
171. Sure, he's mildly amusing - but he's out of control.

Only one of three things will cut down on the signal to noise ratio here. He
can stop posting, not a likely scenario. Flagg can remove his ability to
post, also not a likely scenario. Or...

We can stop feeding the attention starved lil weasel, and let him move on
when he doesn't receive the attention he craves.

Food for thought, eh?

B) support his words
C) be quiet

there are another 3 options.

one day mate, you will be in a similar situation, and when you are posting
in defense and you get the same treatment as i, then i am going to send you
a very personal email from another account that you dont have filtered :)

All I have to say is...

This is what you get for kicking Eep out. ;)

Well, actually, I have a little more to say. I don't understand any of this
to tell you the truth. Amazingly, this whole sunofsolaris thing has happened
almost overnight (which is statistically amazing according to macb's stats)
and I'm at a lost of words where to start on forming my own personal
opinion.

I must say kudos for such oblivious persistence. But boy, I thought this
newsgroup was all about me. I guess some people are more selfless than I am,
excuse my sarcasm.

I truly contribute this massive amount of...trash, pardon my french, to a
lack of any technical guidance by any newbies in this newsgroup. I would
MUCH MUCH rather spend all of my days answering the same old newbie
questions like "How do you move" "My AW keeps on crashing" "What does
Direct3d mean?" than look at this (I'm lying for the sake of making me look
morally right, but just go along with me). If we HAD newbies, than I don't
think any of this would happen, don't you? So, the solution, get some
newbies!!! Then, we'll all have a funner dumber crowd to lynch all day.
