Hi everyone:
[View Quote] HOW are you the OWNER??? By your own admission, you didn't send any $$$$. As far as AW is concerned, from a LEGAL standpoint, you're a TOURIST!!!! > It's not my fault AW did not know who was renewing it for me! And just who's fault is it then??? The owner of Loki World??? Think again and re-read the above. > It's not my fault AW told me it was not under any world for 2 years! Not a world you had LEGAL RIGHTS to anyways.... > How this all happened I still have no idea! Simple. This owner decided to stop paying for a cit unless HE used it himself. In other words, he took back something which was RIGHTFULLY his to begin with!!! > As I said before I won that cit fair and square, and the person that gave it Did the two of you sign an ENFORCEABLE LEGAL DOCUMENT of some kind???? Did $$$ change hands between the two of you??? If neither of these happened, YOU HAVE **NO **CASE!!! > This thing took place in the world named Armor. I don't care if it took place deep in the woods of AlphaWorld. See above. > The way I see it, if someone gives you something, there is no way they can > ever take it back unless it was a temp thing and this was not a temp thing! It's obvious that you and lawyers see things differently because I seriously doubt you're gonna get much of anything from the owner of Loki World. Just my $.02 worth... bowenJan 15, 2002, 11:16pm
> Did the two of you sign an ENFORCEABLE LEGAL DOCUMENT of some kind????
Did > $$$ change hands between the two of you??? If neither of these happened, > YOU HAVE **NO **CASE!!! Yes he does, if the owner agreed to give it to the person who gave it to data that's a contract agreement since it was typed. And the contract between data and the 2nd owner is still a contract. Even if it were verbal it might still be void depending on the Mass' laws. --Bowen-- pc hamsterJan 15, 2002, 11:26pm
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] I kinda sorta figured it was such... :-) ... 3d Homepages have sadly been given very > little respect in the newsgroups especially after recent events. Well SOME of it is deserved as I've indicated in the #D Homepages thread, however.... I thought > it was funny to see such an staunch advocate stick his head into the > proverbial lion's den. I'd be shoved into the same den even if I had launched a full blown world served to users via a World Server, so I figure what's the difference IF one actually DOES something with their 3D Homepage :-) > Personally, I'm glad you get so much enjoyment from your 3D Homepage - its > not often we get such an enthusiastic and POSITIVE post in here. > > Good luck, > > Grims. Thanks Grims. Means a lot. :-) Though I have to admit that given the theme I've chosen, my BIGGEST challenge would have to be creating additional rooms in and furnishing all those homes (one of which is MY house). Once I get that done, the rest of it should come fairly easy *knocking on wood* :-) Once its all done, I hope to get it noticed in AWNews, but I'm not holding my breath as I'm sure the staff there is quite picky :-) Either way you look at it, it will be one COOL place to be. :-) Cheers for now everyone :-) Patrick Cook Owner - Pub 102X pchamster at msn.com musicradio102x at juno.com Denver, Colorado pc hamsterJan 16, 2002, 5:56am
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] But even then Bowen, his argument would be weak at best because it wasn't Data's citizenship to begin with... Patrick bowenJan 16, 2002, 10:35am
> verbal
> > But even then Bowen, his argument would be weak at best because it wasn't > Data's citizenship to begin with... Not originally, but it still is his. Think of it as buying something at a store, that store is the middle man, so was the guy that gave Data the cit. Unless you're lucky and can get it directly from the guy. --Bowen-- grimbleJan 16, 2002, 1:05pm
YOU don't need to. Do you have no friends in AW? Either someone that trusts
you enough to lend you a *temporary* priv password or will work with you for a little while to scan your stuff of for you?? Are you determined to make this a bigger issue that it already appears to be for you? Grims [View Quote] sw chrisJan 16, 2002, 8:58pm

Ummm I did not make/start this issue the person that took my cit did!
My posting is the "effect" of a problem not the cause of one.... [View Quote] grimbleJan 17, 2002, 12:55am
That's your opinion ... I've been reading this thread in case something
useful/interesting pops in and I'm not getting into who's at fault or whether you have any right to the cit - I don't care. I pointed out a simple way to move your stuff if you want to and off you go in search of other obstacles to stop you ending this. Sort it out or forget it already! Get someone to scan it for you ... then take it to DLP and rebuild it in a nice little spot of your own. Its not difficult! Once that's done, there's no need to prolong this thread any longer since its between you and whoever you have the gripe with. Grims [View Quote] sw chrisJan 17, 2002, 3:05pm

Data21,
I contacted you in Dreamland Park, and I thought we worked out this issue. Since you're such a whiny lil pissant, and can't accept my good faith efforts to try and resolve the problem, I withdraw my offer of help. Good luck. [View Quote] data21Jan 18, 2002, 5:13am
I know and we did.
But I still read my post if someone added to it. I just don't like the few people in here making me look like the bad guy when I am not, I will post back if some one dose that to me when they don't read the whole post to see what's really going on and start making stuff up in there head to fill in the missing gaps they skimmed over and all. And they shouldn't have even posed in here in the 1st place if that's all they are going to do. They don't help, all they do is make thing worse and make people mad. Please I still do want your help on this. [View Quote] |
