I have seen grown upstanding members of this community speaking of BOB in
the Bingos.
You DO know what BOB is?...If not just ask some of our fine upstanding
citizens:)
And guess what?
If a young adult doesn't know what it is they beg to have someone tell them.
How is this release of partial info different than the Cys I ask you?

FYI...it might be put to a Community vote as to which the Cys will
cover.....Adult rated or G rated.
I reckon if anyone is going to make a decision it just might be you folks:)

Sorry Bowen...but teens are not in question...but are the concern.
Both at this time are at risk as far as I can see.
Especially if the community decides via a voting process.
I personally would rather see the Cys stop completely then to have to deal
with making choices in matters like this.
Either 2 decisions are going to cause pain and frustration for one group or
the other:(

What if an adult world person who has their entrys in an adult world were to
have a world to display their entry in where no r or x rated displays or
chat were present in the display world?

Dear Activeworlds Community,

I am no longer going to be in the advisory status for the Cys. Nor have
any involvement with them or any community organization which lacks legal
advisory.
The reason for this decision involves laws forming on the Internet.
When E N Z O announced the rules of world ratings that will be put into
effect, it opened my eyes to what can and can't happen legally regarding the
Cys.
I am absolutely sure that E N Z O (with this move) is doing it to follow
rules that a company has to follow now days on the Internet, and thoroughly
understand the need.
It is a VERY good thing that this was brought to our attention.
The Cys are made up of volunteers who possess talents in many fields to
bring entertainment to all of us.
Unfortunately, they do not have on their staff a licensed lawyer.
My final advise to the teams is to not continue unless they can secure a
lawyer who is willing to read any content on the Cy pages, advise to any
content there and during ceremonies, and to be on a binder for any legal
needs.
Seriously folks, if you are engaging in anything on the Net, please make
sure you are covered legally on any content.
I for one do not want to have a paper delivered to me stating I am
facing a lawsuit for not knowing the laws.
Should the Cy team decide to continue, bless them for wanting to make
sure the Cys continue, but I hope to God they cover themselves legally.
I am hoping this post will not be followed with arguments or twisting of
my intentions. Please just read it and understand.

Hey maki:)

I will meet with you today then make my post following our decisions
from that meeting.
I also might suggest we have some non biased people attending, only to
record the chat and to say nothing during our chat. (Possibly a PK?)
No friends, no supporters of each of our causes ok please?
This is personal between you and I ok?
I think this way it will keep our conversation focused on what we need
to mend here, and won't allow for it to become a circus of accusations.
Let me know what you think and then we can set up a meeting.

Hey everyone:)

maki and I have met and yes this is the real Bit:)
In our conversation maki wasn't hesitant in the least of releasing my
name. I personally am glad it was him that grabbed it when I relenquished
it:) He made a superb gaurdian of it actually:)
Now the serious business.
I truly appologize for accusing maki of possibly attempting to use
aliases to acquire ppws. It was a joke. I reacted to it in a negative way.
There were a lot of outside influences that made me become a reactionary
person. But that's the past:)
I would like to ask that each of you please not respond to this unless
it is in a positive manner. Maybe a huge kudos to maki for being the caring
person he is:)
We all make mistakes. It's those like maki that can appologize and put
it behind them that can be considered "understanding people":)
If any of you hear anything negative regarding this scenario, please
help me to squelch the negative part and emphasize the positive part.
We had a PK witness the change of names and our conversation. Should you
need to verify anything regarding that, please contact the Peacekeeper Core
Members.
