Its a decent idea, but I don't think directly advertising through
communities will do it anymore.
Take the fella who made this topic...

There to us in the AW community, and after a long debate he became
rather zealous and now more than one of us aren't interested in there at
all *because* of him.
So just be weary, it may work against ya ;)

Not particularly, because if Second Life is as big in podcasting
communities as you say it is, it'll be hard to find a place without a
pre-existing bias towards SL, and they'll be able to argue as to why
they like it just as much as we can argue why we like AW.
Still don't think it would be a very successful idea, but I'm probably
just being negative.
