Umm...no. :) We're not happy. You still don't:
post to just ONE newsgroup use correct grammar uncapitolize words that shouldn't be! punctuate have a decent sig (sorry, I just hate it, it makes no sense, sig wise) post anything that's relevent and useful and informative I'll say you've gotten better though. --------------855063281FA3BD8235B976CF Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit First lesson learned I hope. Without capitals and with punctuation it can actually be read what you write. Next you should try to learn how to avoid crossposting. Crosspost only only in the rare case that your message really matches the themes of more than one newsgroup. Third step will be to avoid meaningless posts and to play too much with message subjects. p.s.: I hope for you that it isn't too late for that, I doubt that Wing was only the second one who reported the abuse. agent fox mulder schrieb: > > In The NewsGroup I Will Start To Talk With small letters. There are you happy > now maybe ill stop getting complaints > > -- > --------------------------------------------------------------------Whats > Up??????And Dont Complain About My Capitals --------------855063281FA3BD8235B976CF Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="vha.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Visitenkarte für Volker Hatzenberger Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="vha.vcf" begin:vcard n:Hatzenberger;Volker x-mozilla-html:FALSE url:oct31.de adr:;;Bornheimer Strasse 15;Bonn;;53111;Germany version:2.1 email;internet:vha at oct31.de end:vcard --------------855063281FA3BD8235B976CF-- agent fox mulderJan 17, 2001, 11:53pm
If Your Going To Be Like That Nornny I'm Going Back Like This Unless You
Have Soomething To Say About It. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------Whats Up??????And Dont Complain About My Capitals [View Quote] goober kingJan 18, 2001, 1:00am
One thing at a time, Nornny... one thing at a time... If he stops using
capitols all the time, we'll lay off him about it, k? However, this doesn't mean he won't get smacked for crossposting or posting irrelevant messages. So now that capitols are out of the way, we are free to complain about everything else. That is, of course, unless Jeckyll is willing to make a *few* more posting style changes... --------------9901158407EC93DD43E747DE Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit AFM, this is what your provider writes in his use policy : ( http://home.com/support/aup/ ) Newsgroups Messages posted to newsgroups must comply with the written charters or FAQs for those newsgroups. Advertisements, solicitations, or other commercial messages should be posted only in those newsgroups whose charters or FAQs explicitly permit them. You are responsible for determining the policies of a given newsgroup before posting to it. Posting or cross-posting the same or substantially similar messages to more than eight newsgroups is prohibited. Our news software will automatically cancel any messages posted to nine or more newsgroups. Binary files may not be posted to newsgroups not specifically named for that purpose. Users posting binary files to groups with policies concerning the permissible daily volume of posted files are required to observe those limitations. Forging, altering or removing header information is prohibited. This includes attempting to circumvent the approval process for posting to a moderated newsgroup. the at Home network reserves the right to discontinue access to any Usenet newsgroup at any time for any reason. You may not attempt to "flood" or disrupt Usenet newsgroups. Disruption is defined as posting a large number of messages to a newsgroup which contain no substantive content, to the extent that normal discussion in the group is significantly hindered. Examples of disruptive activities include, but are not limited to, posting multiple messages with no text in the body, or posting many follow-ups to messages with no new text. Messages may not be canceled, except by the author or by official newsgroup moderators performing their duties. The Usenet news service included with an at Home residential service account is provided for interactive use by the subscriber, using a commonly-available NNTP client such as Netscape Communicator. Non-interactive clients which download Usenet articles in bulk are prohibited. --------------9901158407EC93DD43E747DE Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="vha.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Visitenkarte für Volker Hatzenberger Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="vha.vcf" begin:vcard n:Hatzenberger;Volker x-mozilla-html:FALSE url:oct31.de adr:;;Bornheimer Strasse 15;Bonn;;53111;Germany version:2.1 email;internet:vha at oct31.de end:vcard --------------9901158407EC93DD43E747DE-- roluJan 18, 2001, 9:34am
That's much better. Now try to use some punctuation, post in only one
newsgroup at a time, and don't forget to change your signature, and I guess most people will be happy. Rolu [View Quote] rick56Jan 24, 2001, 12:10am
Listen Nornny, while you're telling him to capitalize words you made a
mistake yourself. uncapitolize words that shouldn't be! It's spelled Uncapitalize, and I just thought you should know :) -Rick56 nornnyJan 24, 2001, 9:44am
