I cannot make a decision, both usually make me angry and both should NOT post in a COMMUNITY newsgroup I think. Both show with nearly every posting that they have a big hole in the brain where social behaviour should be located. And they seem to compete for the 1st place in the skills of social misbehaviour. So please, AFM and eep - learn or step in front of a train. I am sure most of us would appreciate that. Volker p.s.:OK, AFM should not post anywhere else either ... p.p.s.: No, eep - I will not loose my vcard, it isn't just a NetScape feature, it is RFC compliant and I like it (http://apollo.wu-wien.ac.at/manuals/rfc/rfc2426.txt) --------------6AED9E6377E383010BE49BD6 Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="vha.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Visitenkarte für Volker Hatzenberger Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="vha.vcf" begin:vcard n:Hatzenberger;Volker x-mozilla-html:FALSE url:oct31.de adr:;;Bornheimer Strasse 15;Bonn;;53111;Germany version:2.1 email;internet:vha at oct31.de end:vcard --------------6AED9E6377E383010BE49BD6-- roluJan 17, 2001, 9:52am

Mulder. Definately.

Because someone pisses you off, he shouldn't post here? > Both show with nearly every posting that they have a big hole in the > brain where social behaviour should be located. And a group full of happyhappyhappy people isn't fun either. > So please, AFM and eep - learn or step in front of a train. I am sure > most of us would appreciate that. For AFM - ok. Prolly the people who actually take the time to flame both of them. :P
> > I cannot make a decision, both usually make me angry and both should NOT > post in a COMMUNITY newsgroup I think. Oh, I definately think we need both an Eep around and a AFM around on occasions. :) It keeps our wittiness up, you know? :P A group will collapse if it never deals with annoying people, ie AFM. As a group, we need to learn from our mistakes, and then kick every annoying person out of this ng until he goes crying to his mommy. :) As for the intellectual types, hey, if I had the knowledge of Eep, I'd post whatever the heck I'd really wanted to say too. :) Fine, they make you mad, but for YOU to post useless angry posts like they do just stoops you to their level. I was quite annoyed by your threats, really myself. Nothing against you, but it just doesn't seem like your level. :) > > Both show with nearly every posting that they have a big hole in the > brain where social behaviour should be located. And a group full of happyhappyhappy people isn't fun either. Technical knowledge doesn't help in a community newsgroup. I like to read interesting discussions but too much polemics and abuse here at the moment. > > For AFM - ok. He's getting a bit too annoying. > > > Now you mention it... Maybe... but for now he's the most irritating one here.
NOT > > Off course :) They annoy me and that's my thought. Makes sense. But you wouldn't mind if I won't agree on you here, will you? compete him > > Technical knowledge doesn't help in a community newsgroup. It might when people start asking technical questions. > I like to read interesting discussions but too much polemics and abuse > here at the moment. It has been like that for a long time. They closed the newsgroups for tourists to prevent it, but it didn't help (and I'm glad it didn't, I think the ng's should be open for tourists so they can come here with questions and stuff) There are always people shouting at each other, and as long as it doesn't get too annoying, it's ok for me. It works quite counterproductive when you are forced to be nice when you are mad. As far as I'm concerned, it's still ok in these newsgroups. > > No way ! *grin* > roluJan 17, 2001, 8:14pm

On the other hand, we can also try to make the annoying people less annoying... might help them too, and maybe they start to add value when they grow up. > As for the intellectual types, hey, if I had the knowledge of Eep, I'd post > whatever the heck I'd really wanted to say too. :) Fine, they make you mad, > but for YOU to post useless angry posts like they do just stoops you to > their level.
