Hey, I put this in a thread somewhere else, but I decided to put it in it's
own post.

The CLC is the Community Linkage Commision. Currently, we link up towns,
settlements, or builds, by roads, rails, rivers, paths, etc. Some of these
links go on for kilometers, so it takes some time (but I must say looks very
nice on the map, vevo.com). We've currently connected 3 large towns,
serveral small towns, and dozens of small settlements, in the southeast
quadrent. As of now, we service 1000s and e to 15000s and e. The CLC has
kinda been in hiding for the past few months, but I decided to get serious
with it now (web page, building HQ, some kinda structured staff).

Any suggestions?

As far as I know it hasnt gone down yet. As far as I can tell from talking
to them they are simply planning on how to continue in the future with a
member leaving. They are doing this in advance so I dont see why they should
have a problem so what is the point of starting rumors that they are, why
not be supportive instead or doesnt that happen any more.

Lord Vector.
P.S. Have a nice day ;)

There's not webpage now, but I'm working on it right now, I just stopped to
look at the newsgroups just now =)

The page will have a huge map, stating the names of locations, and the CLC
pathways. It's taking some time to teleport to all these locations and
getting some information outa them.

I think thats a cool idea. Though since I'm co-staff in SW City with Comit I
probably gotta say that or else he'd like surround my little subcommunity or
something (sadistic him :P), but really I do like the idea of connecting the
towns, I think it makes AW seem a lot more realistic. (and really, highways
also serve as spawning grounds for little settlements, like Hickville [the
little 4 person community that Syntax and I started]).

CLC is a good idea but what about some well known highways in AW that
separate the northwest, northeast, southeast and southwest sectors of the
world? What can be done about those?

ahhhh syn you talk to me everyday, you should know =P

If your talking about the highways running on the equators, we don't go past
that area, only the SE quadrent. And we try to stay away from the GZ maplet
(that is, all the buildings that fan out like a star from GZ, where towns
are very hard to map because the borders are surrounded by buildings).
Besides that though, the highways will just be ignored, and the owner will
be contacted for help. I know the AWHS owns many highways, and I'd like to
talk to Munkuy about assisting the CLC in case we run into it. He's already
helped us twice, as I thank him =)
