Hey,
Any of you bot programmers thought about making a parcheesi type game in
a world?
I personally love the game and would love to see it:)
I could help with textures?
Maybe change the "look" of the board and name it something else?
Aw-Cheesy....lol

Dunno hon. The mere thought of being able to play Parcheesi in AW makes me
wanna give up bingo and building. (I am a Parcheesi addict) hahahah ;-"D

question tho... any chances of playing "double Parcheesi" too?? or is that
too much to hope for??? LOL

Whats double parcheesi?
I would think the bot could make a game hold as many players as wanted?
Would be great fun to have like 20 people combatting it out against each
other...LOL

[View Quote] Yeah but it can't be more than 4 players... that would totally require a revamp of
the parcheesi board. :P

For years my brothers and I have played by using two gameboards together and
using twice the amount of pieces, making it hysterically funny and doubling
your chances of sending someone back to start. Takes us days sometimes to
actually complete a game. As for the twenty players at one time.... one
board only has 4 starting places, 4 "Homes" and 4 pieces each. Are you
envisioning using 5 boards together? Or 5 seperate games going on at the
same time???
;-"D

A whole new board or 5 boards...whatever someone could make for a bot:)
I'm sure with all the talented folks in AW we could design a 20 or less
player board and bot:)

Ok...as you can see from this picture
http://store6.yimg.com/I/americancraftsonline_1719_83453 The design could be
quite flexible.
Picture a circular hub for the center then 20 spokes coming off it.

Ok...if you look at that baord then read this it makes it easier.
A roll of the dice moves your game marker.
Each person rolls one dice to see who goes firts.
You move your marker around the exterior rows on the board and then up the
center row just before your home. Then you try to be the first to have all 4
markers in the center hub.
When you land on a spot with a marker of an opponents on it, then that boots
them back to their home and they have to start that one over.
If there are 2 markers on one square people can't pass that square not boot
any of those two markers.
You can split the dice roll. For instance...you roll a 3 and a 6...you can
move one piece 3 squares and 1 piece 6 squares...or move one piece 9
squares.
In that last row towards the hub you have to have an exact roll on the dice
to move a marker in.
I think that's all of the rules?
Pretty basic similiar to checkers on the concept.

Reminds me of a board game called Aggravation. :) In fact that game is
probably a rip off Parcheesi.

[View Quote] A "checker-like" version of parcheesi. More like a monopoly + parcheesi mix kinda...
it's silly.
