bury the survivors...

LOL You are correct Daphne. Heck, in AW a huge dispute could arise over
whether you should have ended your statement with an elipse or a
iod. };¬]

Would one want a private iloo, let alone a public one?
Maybe there will be fancy disposable slip covers for the keyboard. Sanitized
for our safety. :)

Let's see.. following your logic, if I steal something I can afford that
is bad, but if I steal something I can't afford.. no harm. Kewl, I have had
my eye on a BWM for a long time.

<snip>
I guess the same thing with some cracked softwares. For example, if a
software cost 2000$, there is no way I could afford it, so if I use a
cracked software, the company will not get a penny, if I cannot afford to
buy it, they will not get a penny; so logically no difference. Then if a
software cost 20$ I can afford it, so if I used a crack for that they would
loose money. No I do not expect everyone to understand this logic lol

I think we have all lost our innocense. The following is not my creation,
but I like it.

Lost Innocense

Innocense is like a cloud,
You are only able to touch it once.
After innocense there is unforgettable experience
Changing our past is an unknown talent
But the future shows hope for improvement
Opportunities lie underneath hidden challenge
Innocense is found among every obstacle
But can never be touched.
The last thing we see when we die is;
The innocense that we lost.

The "cause" of all the commenting and answers is peoples lack of willpower
to refrain from doing so. Saying that TheLady is the cause is like saying
the Newsgroups or for that matter Activeworlds is the cause. Afterall, if
the newsgroups weren't here, she wouldn't be posting to them.

VRT time should change with daylight savings

Apr 4, 2004, 9:09am
[View Quote] I am left to wonder how changing the time on your clock from 2am to 3 am all
of a sudden makes it darker outside. Even if you wait until the morning to
change your clock, it will have little bearing on the amount of light
outside at the time you change it. :)

VRT time should change with daylight savings

[View Quote] Let's not go overboard. An hour this way or that is hardly a world of
difference. It is more like a muted form of "jet lag". Your body rythums
would be much more affected by a change in work shifts or traveling from
northern to suthern hemispheres. In these instances you are increasing or
decreasing the number of hours of light in your day. While your body rythums
will adapt to that also the time it takes to do so is closer to a "world of
difference" than adapting to the time change ( which is a normally ongoing
process as the days get longer or shorter).

Homopobic Gatekeeper?

Many people weren't around or old enough to see the movie when it was
released in "1984", let alone in 1948 when the novel was published. The good
thing about books is they will always be here for us to enjoy ( Unless Ray
Bradbury's vision of the future rings truer than George Orwell's vision ).
