Is it me or is he world list STILL growing? its now at 2,124 as im typing
this...what was it before?...like 1,300 or so. It just amazes me becuase
there isnt even 1,000 citezins to create those extra 3d homepages whitch
means people are creatin more then one, and that in itself is just puzzling
why anyone would want more then one. After your tricked into the first time
i have no idea why you'd want another one....well Anyways.....

The list is almost impossible now to look through and sort out....very
confusing

it is! it's rediculous! from 1800 to 3000 world in what? 2, 3 weeks? really,
AWCOM is growing even more money hungry than they were before. they are
actually SELLING 3d homepages! and a p10 3d homepage costs more per year
than a REAL p10 world does! that is sad

What evidence do you have of "3D homepages" actually being SOLD? I suspect the world list will shrink back to around 1800 (or whatever it was before this whole "3D homepage" fiasco began) after the initial month trial period and most, if not all, people realize they're just not worth the hassle and that it's AWC's latest marketing gimmick. Don't be fooled, people; there's NO deal here...

It's a pre-made world. Simple as that. I think the original idea behind it
was to make buying and setting up worlds more user-friendly so any average
person could own a world.

By them SELLING the 3d Homepages I meant that it is possible. Take a look at
the 3d Homepage website! "3d Homepage Pricing" Seriously, do the math, you
pay more per year for a p10 3d Homepage than you do for a real p10

Well they do host the object path and the world. Did you factor that into
the equation?

Flagg, having a monthly payment "subscription" option on regular worlds
would be great. I think I'd get world then. :)

still, a bunch of high-quality services (some even free) out there for
that... and if the object sets remain designed for a 5x5 world, well sorry,
but that's not anything I'd buy...

Um, perhaps YOU should do the math and realize no one will be buying these "3D homepages"...

What my point was is that the 3D homepages have the the pricing for object
path and server hosting figured in. That's why they're priced higher. I
wasn't talking about a plain world.

Yes. And its called business. <soapbox>I'm constantly surprised at the
audacity of some people. Its like they watched the movie "Conspiracy
Theory" so many times that they look for conspiracies behind every corner.
Sure, its our responsibility as customers to make sure we don't get
snookered, but come on! This is ridiculous!</soapbox>

who cares, it's more than it's worth... and don't give me that "worlds
hosted by AW are up when AW is" story, cuzz it ain't true, I've seen their
servers go bye bye while the UniServer continued fine (they are on separate
machines, at least they were smart enough to do it that way)... you can buy
objects from Gand with a liscence that doesn't expire after a month, it's
what I'd do...

when you really think about it, which you obviously did not, many people
will simply look at the pricing and think "Wow! That's less than a plain
world with free world and op hosting!" It's really not. I (unfortunately)
know some people that would do that.

usually AWC defenders use the argument "worlds hosted by the AWC are up when
the UniServer is up". but that isn't true. it's too high a price for the
product you get.
