i can't figure out how to make tab strips in VB work right.....if i put
osmething on it they show for all the tabs you click. I need ot know hwo to
put something on one tab and somethign on a nother and so on....

if i dont use it it errors me saying i need an = and some value.....i have
always done this becuase it wont let me do otherwise and it usually

I've made basic chatboxes before and they kinda stunk but worked fine since
the bts were never public. Im planning on releaseing this new one though so
id like it to look good :)

Ok well you know how most bots have places where the chat of the world can
be seen and you can type in and have the bot say it (ive got that part).
Well to tell you the truth i don't know how to put scroll bars on anything
so i had to use a textbox :( Well which one should i use if i wanted to put
in vertical scrollbars and how do i put those in. And how do i make it
autoscroll (or turn of autoscrolling by a button).

I've decided to use tabs on my bot becuase its easier for this type of bot.
Lots of different settings and its easier then tons of buttons and windows.

So anyways....how do these work? I dont really knwo hwo to add things so
they onyl show up when you click the tab for them.

well i know of both of those but those fat ugly lookign ones i didnt use. I
used the windows looking ones. If i have to put everything in a frame, i
dont know. Its going to get kind of screwed up with so many tabs and such.
Ill mess around with the other one and see if i can change the way it looks.

the SSTab is WAY easier....just change the style to look like regular tabs
and whatever you put in the tabs it stays there without any extra
coding.....it looks just the same if you keep one row of tabs

you cant have a seperate form for each tab. a tab is an object a form is
another whole window and you cant put a form inside of an object.

You could have forms appear when you click a tab i guess but thats just
about it. If you position it right and make it have no border that could
work.

i was making my bot and i couldnt add the ocx file so i was looking through
the object browser and the lib was in it. i didnt add it but i guess it just
went in by itself somehow....

well i want to know whats the difference between them and which one would be
the best to use

so if i use the lib (i have to anyways) do i have to distribute the ocx with
my exe? and does it do everything the same as if i added the ocx through
compents menu?

I kind of want to use it the way i normally do but i dont knwo how to get
rid of the lib....
