You mean like, for example, a screen object that shows a website and you can
click links and stuff? [View Quote] ferruccioJan 6, 2005, 9:22pm
That sounds like Doom 3-style control panels ^_^
Even if that's not what she meant, dang that's be a cool idea. [View Quote] orbJan 7, 2005, 4:03pm
Yes, something like the commands : Create show url
http:\\blahblahblah.htm and; Activate show url http:\\redundant.hmt. Create hide url maybe if there's some conflicting url's in the area sort of like with the sound silencer command ? Certainly interactive html with links would be stupendous. o-o Sharon "Ah, but a man's reach should exceed his grasp -- or what's a heaven for?" -- Robert Browning selanitJan 7, 2005, 8:55pm

I'd settle for a way to activate objects from a web page. We have teleport links -- which work by shell executing aworld.exe with an argument of a file consisting of one line, "teleport (coords)". I'd like to see one which would shell exec aworld.exe with a file consisting of "activate (named object)", causing it to activate any objects with that name in the area. whitestar.Jan 7, 2005, 9:58pm
Or send messages specified by the browser to the server so bots can interact
with websites (like the mutation bot can interact with the browser -- I realise that's pure server side though) Only problem I see with that idea ^ is that people could possibly fake the messages to the server if this stuff is client side. -Zeo [View Quote] |
