non-breaking space on signs (Wishlist)
non-breaking space on signs // WishlistalexthemartianMar 26, 2004, 1:01am
aw should find a way to have non-breaking spaces on signs, so that you
can have a name or something that has a space in it and it all be in one line. so if i had a name of "Alex The Martian" (which i dont obviously, lol) it wont end up being Alex The Martian or something. and sometimes you just dont want to add spaces above and bellow :P or you dont want to have to put it in quotes in the action. roadkillMar 26, 2004, 1:52am
In that case you would put something like:
" Alex The Martian " Note the line breaks directly before and after the text. ferruccioMar 26, 2004, 6:31am
You can do Ctrl+Enter to add space above and below the line, so all text can
stay on one line (if it still is more than one line, keep adding more space above and below the line using Ctrl+Enter) [View Quote] zeofatexMar 26, 2004, 5:50pm

did you read my entire post? "sometimes you just dont want to add spaces
above and bellow :P or you dont want to have to put it in quotes in the action." you just repeated this back to me O.o [View Quote] ferruccioMar 27, 2004, 6:25am
No it doesn't. if you evenly put a space above and below, it doesn't
off-center it. that's what I said >,< I do it all the time to make text smaller. [View Quote] ferruccioMar 27, 2004, 6:26am
I guess I don't understand what you are trying to ask then.
