Universe owners might be interested in including .mp3's with their
universes, but the sound command does not accept local: url's

Not that I'm likely to ever buy a Universe....

it Already on 3.5 and i use it to website and i listened a MP3...it just a
same feature.

read way on the bottom of the beta notes, there was a local url feature

Web page urls can now read content from a local directory. prefacing a URL
with "local:" will cuase the browser to look from content in the
"/default/web" directory. For example, "Activate url local:mypage.html" will
look for "C:\Active Worlds\default\web\mypage.html". This is really only
useful for universe admins who want to pre-load web content for users.

umm.. do you mean have the mp3 already in the uni folder so you can
click an object to hear it without having to download it?

like "activate sound local:welcome.mp3" ??

Yes.. that's what I meant.

What I meant was that I already read the note about the local:
url, I already tried it, and it does not work with MP3 file
and the sound command.

My wish was stating that if a universe owner wanted to include
custom web content, they might also find it useful to include
custom MP3 content using this new feature, but it will not work.
