I have seen an option similar to this in Unreal Tournament, where your eye
level is slanted to the terrain (maybe this would work with other objects in
which are slanted). It would be a bit easier than having to press page up
and page down when climbing mountains etc.

Hmm - maybe I should stop my wishlist posts. Active Worlds wasn't made to be
this advanced, and that's fine.

actually the camera tilting is a natural reflex that you yourself produce by
, try using mouse-look mode (3rd button from the left on your tool-bar)

Bump AvAxis Set=TR (Tilt / Roll)

It would be a nice feature that id like to see, to automatically look up and down hills etc

Cha! You do that automatically, it's not physics that makes you look up the
hill as you walk up it.

LOL, well, it'd be really hard to dig your toes into the hill in order to
walk while standing straight.

Perhaps instead of an option (meaning on/off, in this context) it may be better to add a slider bar where all the way to one end is totally manual tilting, and at the other end is totally automatic tilting. Then a little math could work out your avatar's actual tilt based on a weighted average between your personally selected viewing angle, and the automatically selected viewing angle.
