Disk defragmenting feature (Wishlist)
Disk defragmenting feature // Wishlist

Hey, What do you guys think about having a place to select a hard disk drive and defragment it from within AW so you can defrag
anytime without having to quit the browser? A scandisk option would be cool too.
It would need some minor modifications to the browser but adding a few lines to the .ini file should do.=)

PS: Roland, if you have the time add a disk partitioner module, Partitionmagic is too expensive.

Sure but I need to quit the browser, I'm sure AW would like me to stay online while I'm defragmenting :D
btw Norton SpeedDisk is better :)

How about making AW an OS by itself? Navigate in 3D in your desktop, bump on that IE icon to start it, walk in a folder to see the contents, every morning take the recycle bin out of the house etc? Minor modifications required also...
Anyway Fox, that was kinda mean but funny :)

That would be very nice.. a nice Unix workstation (only Nedry had the mac).
It'd be fun to play with :)

Thats easy enough to do...just set your shell as AW in system.ini and then
have AW put in an offline thing....oh even better! Make the chat menu also
do commands like "run" and "open" so if i have some program or file not in
my desktop I can just do "/run c:\program files\O_O\O_O.exe" or something...
Hmm...we should all approach AW about this...maybe make it linux-based but
have it support everything for windows...that would be like...the perfect OS
^_^ and then you could also shut off the view window while using
3d-intensive games and stuff so its like a regular desktop....good idea that
