I thought of an interesting idea just now. We could save ourselves a lot of
problems with giving out priviledge passwords and keeping them secret by
doing something else. From your citizen attributes box, you could enter the
citizen number(s) of the person(s) you want to have your priviledge
passwords. Then, when the person wants to use your priviledges, they just
enter your cit number and use them. This enables aw to use no ppws and to
make it so that no one else which other than the citizen numbers you
specified can use your priviledges. Also, no one has to remember any ppws
and you never have to change it. You can even make a checkbox where you
make a list of people you can acquire the priviledges of and check the one
that you want to use. This idea would save a lot of time and hassle, don't
you think?

But then you have to add and remove the cits constantly. I find it easier
and more secure to use passwords (and AW better add in the ability to view
who is on your ppw and be able to kick them off)

Possibly easier, but definately not more secure. With the idea I had,
everything has to be approved by the citizen to get the rights. There is
only one way to get it without asking the citizen with it. The only way to
to steal the person's account.

true true, but if the added features I suggested were implemented then PPW's
would be more secure :) still thats a good idea you got there.

the current way isway less insecure. To solve the prlblem if people give out
their ppws to ton sof people is to have one checkbox where you can enter a
password (or not) and another checkbox to add authorized citezins. That way
you can:
a) use a password the way we currently do it
b)use no password and only let certain citnumbers use your privleges
c)have an authorized citezin list BUT they also have to know your ppw

no, to be able to change your PPW is more secure. I think your idea is
stupid. Sorry, but that's my opinion :-)) and what about bots, heh?

you wouldnt NEED to chnage your ppw if ths was inplemented. Becuase only
people you WANT can use your privileges. THats much easier then chnaging
your ppw constantly

*shrug* Implement this alongside the existing PPWs, but rather than calling it a PPW, change the label on the darn box to Bot
Password :)

Why not just make two different "PPWs" Bot Password and Building Password

Since they would do the same thing according to the uniserver, it would double the insecurity of the PPW system by having two
possible passwords as opposed to only one.
