I know I've posted this before but really...when can we ge a maximum
visibility setting? I'd like to get some more vis out of my AW because my Radeon DDR is giving me a pretty good fps (around 60-80 average) and I'd like to get some more distance in my viewing. I'm no programmer, but how hard is it? -- My two cents, Captain MAD Mike sw comitMar 31, 2001, 6:12pm

Gah how would raising the visibility cause a rewrite? Shouldn't it just be

Theres no way in hell a rewrite would be neccessary for the increased

Roland would have to re-write his entire property downloading mechanism to allow for any visibility. Anyway, he's included a hack (something just thrown together) in his code that should be able to allow visibility up to 200 meters. -Agent1 [View Quote] wingMar 31, 2001, 8:37pm
Hah, I can already see beyond 120m, but only for brief times until the
browser realizes where I am, so it's obviously possible IF it's already cached. Have a cache radius of 120m but allow the browser to 'see' outside of that 120m radius. Not hard :) [View Quote] sw comitMar 31, 2001, 9:59pm
Technically, the visibility is a circle, and when you move very fast you
leave the center of that circle, so you were just seeing what was behind you. But only until the browser catches up with you ...
